Cool motive, still murder.

This is a wonderful series of comics, and very accurate, except for one point. This isn’t being shy. This is social anxiety at it’s most basic, and could literally be a mirror of my own childhood. Shyness is like a more genuine form of coyness. Blushing, averting your eyes, shifting away from someone who’s a little too close. It’s more rooted in mild embarrassment. This is fear. The worry that you will inconvenience somebody, or make somebody look at you negatively. Even when you’re dying to be noticed, it’s terrifying. What if you accidentally interrupt someone? What if you say something dumb? What if your voice sounds funny? That sort of anxiety can completely shape your whole life, and should be taken very seriously.
