How did each charac end up getting their brain scanned in the first place??

I have a rough theory; maybe each of them found themselves in a medical setting at some point, where either they or someone else signed one of those consent forms like "I authorize the use of my medical data for scientific research" or something x)

We know that Gangle was actually hospitalized IRL.

As for Pomni, she seems to be into urban exploration, so maybe she got injured at some point.

For Jax, it could have been related to hypothermia because of her life on the streets.

And Ragatha could certainly have been hospitalized after a riding accident.

That said, the theory doesn't really work for everyone, like I have no idea what Zooble's situation could have been XD Kinger is a different case altogether since he was the creator; that was clearly a conscious and deliberate decision on his part. And with Jax, I could also see her volunteering out of curiosity., maybe even for the money.

Anyway, I'm really curious about it ><) At the same time, I don't mind that the show left some things unexplained, bcs it leaves plenty of room for theories and that's always fun to read :D

I genuinely think they elevated the story, adding an emotional depth that feels incredibly sincere and really touched me, while still keeping the humor strong. It's been a long time since an anime made me laugh that much x'D

The changes were also very welcome bcs tbh, there were a few aspects of the manga that I wasn't particularly fond of, and the additions fit so naturally with the rest of the story that they felt like they had always belonged there imo :)

And this version of Nakamura completely melted my heart (;o;) I love him SO MUUUCH, he has really become one of my favorite characters ever now! And it's also thanks to Chiaki Kobayashi for his incredible performance!!! I've always liked him as a seiyuu, but he truly outdid himself here >< he's both hilarious and deeply moving in this role <33

Idk if the post credits scene means we're getting a s2, but if it's anywhere near this level of quality, all I can say is, please give me more (>0<) !!!!!!! I MISS MY SON ALREADY!

Anyway, I really needed to get this off my chest bcs it's not often that an anime hits all the right notes the way this one did :'3
