Although I think CK and Kerolin are comparable. They are also completely different. The both used everything they had to force a move.
CK stayed with the club while she saw her minutes declining and probably was pretty unhappy about her situation. She probably should have left the club earlier and she certainly shouldn't have dissed the club and disrespected the fans. And she was at the club for a long time so it also seems disrespectful to the good times and the opportunities the club gave her. However although it can partly be blamed on the situation, when she left Arsenal's youth team she also dissed them, which she now denies. So it seems to happen more often with her. But especially the game last season and celebrating towards the City fans took it to far.
Kerolin also wanted to leave, maybe she felt like she already didn't get enough minutes last season and she knew/had the feeling it would be declining. So wanting to escape that situation at any costs I can partly understand. Did she go about it the right way by not showing up and was this kind of disrespectful? Certainly 100% and the fact it was already known she liked Barça a lot made it worse, becausethat certaily could be the ulterior motive. The wiping her Instagram clean, unfollowing and following everyone are just tactics I personally don't like and fit for me into the ballon d'or goal she sets for herself and certain traits I don't like. If/when Barça meets City again and how she reacts towards the City fans will be a huge deciding factor to me. Plus reactions to it now, including mine, will probably be more harsh, because it's fresher.
The fact that CK was longer at the club and got a lot more out of the club than Kerolin, who seems more like a passing ship, probably would always make it worse.
I guess the way I view it, I don’t ever think kero was seriously committed to city in that way. I don’t believe she left because of minutes or whatever, if barca wanted her she was always gonna jump at that opportunity which personally is like 🤷♀️ I understand the reasoning behind a player like her wanting to go to that club
everything else she did was the issue and I could see how people find that worse, but I just don’t think it is personally
