Like I said people keep their right to privacy no matter what. No one is entitled to details of someone's life they don't want to give. Every single one of us don't tell everything about ourselves online. I'm 100% sure we all have secret which only a few people know about.
I think a very good rule of thumb about asking something on sm is if you would meet Viv and Beth by accident in real life would you ask them the same question in person. If the answer to that question is no, then don't ask it on sm.
If the answer is yes, then you can ask it. But in the last case if you met them in real life and you would ask that question and they don't want to answer it and you meet them purely coincidentally a week later you wouldn't ask them the same question they previously didn't answer again. So to me this means you don't ask the same question under every or even under more than one post.
Also I'm Dutch and we're very direct so there are a lot of questions we ask, but if you don't answer or the answer to my question is no that's also okay. If I have the right right to ask every (my friends, family and I draw the line at questions about someone's personal life, unless we are very close and I see something is wrong but even then I wouldn't ask those kind of questions directly I would try to let you tell it to me out of your own free will and even then the words if you're not ready to talk about it that's okay but you can always come to me are mentioned) question you have the right to say no or refuse to answer my question.
I’ve honestly always liked having some form of distance between me and whoever I support if that makes sense? like in reality I would probably never want to meet beth or viv 😭
idk if that’s weird, but like thats just my personality, so sometimes I would comment on their posts but it would be the most genertic stuff ever because I don’t wanna stand out from the rest, so I have a hard time understanding people who feel comfortable asking those types of questions on sm, when I would never in a million years think of it 😭
