As a wolf, roaming this land and learning about the local critters gives me a lot of euphoria and that satisfaction of I am just an animal. A male wolf thatโs growing with his own pack and finding his place in this chaotic world. I fear that it isnโt enough, I need to be more animal.
Hot take: but I think alterhumans and non-humans should really get into anti capitalistic and communistic mindsets,
I believe that everyone should start becoming self-sufficient and not relying on capitalism for gear and affirming items,
Throughout the years I have realized how much people rely on buying things in order to feel affirming to their type / animal side, it makes me upset considering I'm someone who makes my own gear and species affirming items,
I see way too many people buy tails that are unethical, I see people buy plastic items that come from manufacturing factories that pollute the air and the water, I see things that scream future landfill within this community and it makes me upset,
Even if you're not good at making gear you should at least learn, you shouldn't rely on capitalism and corrupted practices to get gear that is supposed to be closer to your animal identity,
This self-sufficient mindset also goes to growing your own food and learning to protect yourself when things get dangerous, the world is becoming darker and we need to learn to get stronger, we need to learn to be a community, and we need to learn to rely on ourselves and our community when the government and justice system can't save us,
Also read a book, eat that knowledge like it's a forbidden ancient secrets and you're a powerful wizard learning those forbidden ancient secrets.

I know everyone has been stressed recently about the therianthropy community as a whole with everything thatโs been happening, but I just wanted to take the time to appreciate alterhuman tumblr. Iโve been on here for so long, and honestly Iโve seen more of a community be created over time. Everyone is so incredibly sweet and looks out for each other. Everyone Iโve talked to in the comments feel like friends. So yea, alterhuman tumblr, you guys are awesome.
It is hard to argue with people who are suicidal because I see death as freedom and believe everyone should have the right to choose. I know how comforting the thought of death is and know that it is an escape from suffering but I still want people to stay despite their painโi know that peace and freedom can come from healing too. If you are still here, you have the chance to find that freedom before deaths. i stayed and fought long enough to reach that place of peace and I know it is achievable for anyone. Pain distorts what feels real and possible. I think people should make that final decision from clarityโnot from suffering. The right thing to do is to make changes that align you with that peace and freedom you desire and deserve. You will then be able to make the final decision from the correct state of mindโit is likely that you will choose to stay. you could sit and suffer and wait forever but change only happens when you take action. This is a good thing. you will feel bad until you decide to stop. it is hard but it is worth it. Some people are so deep into the suffering and I was too but it is always possible to make small changes that lead to big ones. Stop telling yourself you want to die. You want to survive. One day, you will realise that you are glad you stayed. I know this because I am glad i stayed

we have to stop with the viewing of any sort of community as just a community for "escapism". full stop.
any community that is seen as "escapism" is not actually an escape for everyone. white alterhumans view the alterhuman community as a way to escape from "the real world" while alterhumans of color have to deal with racism within the community that white alterhumans dont ever want to reflect or take responsibility for because its supposed to be their safe space.
you need to question if your "safe spaces" are actually safe for other minorities. sorry, but we live in a society and you cannot escape the realities of bigotry. you can try and form a community that is not bigoted, but you have to actually put the work in and listen to other people when they tell you you're being a bigot. what may be "escapism from the real world" to you is still a fight to be respected for other people.
stop with the alterhuman escapism fantasy bullshit. you people still refuse to listen to alterhumans of color, ESPECIALLY Indigenous alterhumans & Black alterhumans. im sick to death of white people throwing a fucking tantrum everytime an alterhuman of color barely mentions the racism in this community. this community is a fucking mess and you all need to get your act together. im tired of having to be scared of white tears and white guilt. im tired of having to watch other alterhumans of color deal with the bullshit of white alterhumans because yall get told the most basic fucking facts about Not Being Racist ever. i am tired of having to hold peoples hands so they don't immediately blow up my inbox. i've had enough trauma from you fuckheads who try and keep this community a safe place for YOU to not have to reflect on yourself. you need to VALUE alterhumans of color, because yall are nothing without us.
