Hey guys so I’m using this as an opportunity to warn others of these types of dumb scammers :)

This is a common one. They try and reach you and say that they have something important to tell you, and that they accidentally “false reported” your account and got tons of their friends to join in on it, and THEN they try to get you to contact fake tumblr “support” with the case number to a person on discord. I’ve seen this so many times it’s outrageous. DONT FALL FOR IT! They typically try and make you pay a fee and say they’ll “refund you” after too. I’ve managed to mess with so many of them now haha

Another thing is that they usually hack people’s profiles, so sometimes they genuinely look legit because the profile has actual posts and whatnot. Just make sure to remember it’s likely not the actual person on their account anymore because they were hacked, so no need to spread hate because it’s likely not actually them.

I’m glad this one was dumb enough to send an ask so I could post it for everyone to see how badly they failed at trying to scam me and also to use it as an opportunity to warn others :)

anyway, thank you all for your support of my comic, I'm so happy that its getting a great amount of lovely eyes on it!!!! It feels great that right now the interactions im getting were more than the notes i was acquiring on the chapters of wittb when it was first coming out!! it gives me hope that i can accumulate a similar audience for it organically :))
