So far the qualitatively best use I've found for AI is in discovering unknown unknowns, and it's genuinely phenomenal at it. Like an LLM trained on the whole internet has intuitive awareness of basically every topic, so if you describe a problem you're having to Claude it'll just kinda bring up related shit that you didn't even know existed, and maybe it gets some of the details wrong but now you have a whole new avenue of the problem to dig into and read up on, frequently with actual verifiable sources that Claude already found links for to get you started, and very often that's enough to get you fully unstuck and also now you have a better and broader understanding of the world and how to move through it effectively. It rules

there are too many things happening this summer that i'm thinking we are going to need an extra 6-12 months of june and possibly another 3-4 months of july. probably no extra august as the problem should hopefully sort itself out by then. we are also looking into extending the day night cycle to 55 hours and extending the human lifespan to 10000 years.
