My dad’s mom literally got a tumor removed from her brain and went back to work in a factory and my dad’s dad dropped out of school as a kid and he is now in his seventies still working in construction. If that tells you about my family

And I feel like this stuff is what people don’t understand about me when I get really upset about not having a full-time job in my field and they keep telling me to get any job or that I am not behind in life (said fucking people have ft jobs they enjoy) Like you see, I’m a first generation student coming from a town where generations of my family have lived and they were putting hope in me to do something good with my life that they weren’t able to do but I fucking failed due to poor life choices and mental health.

god 50 years ago you really could go see a trashy b-movie and it still had gorgeous cinematography, lighting and set design, fun costumes and makeup, and now a hollywood production could have 80 million dollars thrown at it only for it to look like a drawn-out tv commercial for laundry detergent
