doomscrolling tiktok together and I turn to you and ask, "why doesn't your algorithm recommend any videos with Black people?"
doomscrolling tumblr and I turn to you and ask, "why don't you reblog anti-racism when it makes you feel uncomfortable?"
happy pride! remember that being a transgender is everything but fiction. there are so many real historical figures from every century about whose transgender identities we aren't even aware of
I’m trying to find this essay but I can’t remember the name here’s the important pieces I remember and maybe someone can help me:
It’s definitely an autobiographical disability studies essay about experiencing long-covid and being bed-bound specifically during the protests for George Floyd and being unable to participate. She (or they or maybe she/they not certain) talks about how inherently anti-capitalist having a disability is especially one like long-covid. I think the author mentions being Asian or mixed Asian heritage and I think she includes a picture of herself at the end. And I THINK the title was a reference to another piece of work (I think of feminist literature)

Crazy shit goes down in South America
What is up with lefty types pushing to learn practical skills (sewing/gardening/etc whatever) as like "you'll need to know this after The Revolution:tm:" and not, like, "this is a useful skill to help yourself & others in your communities Right Now". You all sound like doomsday preppers and it's weirding me out. We don't have to prep for communist rapture maybe thee revolution starts with helping your neighbors

see unfortunately I have this condition where if I am not explicitly told that I am a part of the ingroup then I will assume I must be part of the outgroup
