see, there are multiple terms here that seem to have morphed out of their original meanings
"passenger princess," to my knowledge, started as a joke among queer women on dating apps- a reference to the term "pillow princess," meaning a sapphic woman who is always passive in bed. therefore, a passenger princess is a (sapphic) woman who doesn't drive
I KNOW "useless lesbian" didn't start out with its current definition because I remember how it began- with this post from (I think) the mid-2010s:
it was then picked up by the emerging Sapphic Multi-FandomTM, especially the Carmilla webseries, and became popular in its original meaning: a lesbian who becomes so distracted by pretty girls that she's rendered useless for anything else
it wasn't initially about the whole "teehee uwu I can't talk to girls!!!!" concept, and I don't know when that changed
actually, didn't Girl Math and Girl Dinner start out innocuous, too? what's with the Infantilization Converter all of these phrases seem to go through?
Girl dinner was originally a funny joke about super low effort meals of whatever was in the cabinet/fridge and somehow it got turned into “teehee I have an eating disorder”. Like if someone’s posting a single granola bar and being like “girl dinner” they need to shut up, that’s barely even a girl snack, girl dinner is when you microwave a big potato and eat it with your bare hands in barely more time than it took to microwave it.
"useless lesbian" is definitely older than mid 2010s. I don't know how it began but that screenshot is a reference to it, not the genesis of it. I tried to google this and while I didn't find a definitive answer on where it came from, it has been around since at least 2012 (eg as a tag on AO3)
