An ice lolly is a small ice particle made of a needle-shaped ice crystal and a single drizzle-sized water droplets. A research flight of 2009 across the British Isles collected ice particles with a candy look. The ice gave it a lollipop look with a stick like shaped at the end. The ice had formed in the clouds and fell down. As the ice fell, water droplets captured on, making the ice exploded, then became ice needles. When the droplets froze they came ice lollies. Ice grows on the bottom of floes. A floe is a sheet of flowing ice. As water freezes it releases heat. The more broad the ice is, the more heat it traps. Global warming is happening of course, but global warming is melting out ice in the Arctic. Our ice keeps the planet cool. “The pumps used for this top-down approach to ice growth could be driven by technology no more sophisticated than the windmills that have long provided water to farms and ranches on the Great Plains,” says Desch. Each pump will be able to add an extra layer of ice about the size of 15 soccer felids, at the time of winter. Desch predicted that this whole project would cost about $50,000. per year it would be $50 billion. Zika still hides in rhesus monkeys.“Zika does stick around for a lot longer than we originally thought,” says Dan Streblow, a virologist. Pika can linger the monkeys nervous system and reproductive tracts. In humans for some people zika is still around hiding in their bodies. It is found in semen. The central nervous system is another place where zika hides. The bloodstream of the rhesus monkey had zika, but it disappeared for 10 days. It remained in their body for 72 days in lymph nodes. “In recent years, rates of colorectal cancer cases and deaths in the United States rose among young and middle-aged adults, an American Cancer Society study of colorectal cancer trends between 2000 and 2014 finds.” People under 50 get colorectal cancer but few get it. “The incidence in this group has risen since 2000, from 5.9 new cases diagnosed in every 100,000 people to 7.2 per 100,000 in 2013. Hiccups are bursts of breaths in action. The muscles that we take breath form are in between the ribs and diaphragm. Hiccups can occur when you eat or drink to fast or to much, hiccups don’t always come around like this though. It can also come from nerves going to the muscles from the brain.The stomach increase in size and bothers the diaphragm. The diaphragm will then contract as we breathe.

In Mexico, microbes were found in crystal caves. Microorganisms were found inside fluid pockets in the big crystals. Penelope Boston and her crew found more than just microbes. They also found genetic material in the walls of the cave. “The microbes found inside the crystals appear to be similar but not identical to those living outside, on the cave walls and other nearby areas,” Boston said. A microorganism will turn any habitat into their home. “If you took some of these organisms from Earth and put them elsewhere, they may do just fine,” says Connie Conley.In the passage it states, “That’s not so great for studying any native life that might be there. Gibbons are mammals that live up to a 25 year lifespan. Gibbons live in southern Asia and they rarely spend their time on the ground; they spend their ti me in the trees. The mammals hook shaped, strong hands help them hood onto tress and swing on them. At 50 feet they can swing from a single swing. They can run put to 35 miles an hour the jungle. Gibbons walk with their arms over their head for balance and they walk on two feet, whether it’s when their in branches or on the ground. A Gibbon’s fur can vary from brown to black. The mammals don’t have tails and there is a white mark on many of the species, either on their faces, hands, or feet. Their diet includes fruit and sometimes insects. Gibbons are becoming endangered because people are capturing them and killing them for materials or either selling them for pets. Sea turtles are the most ancient creature on Earth. They usually come in colors of yellow or a greenish colors with black spots. Turtles can put their head and legs in their shells, but sea turtles cannot. A sea turtles diet may include sponge, algae, jellyfish, and seaweed. Males and baby sea turtles do not return to the shore after they are born, the female only goes back to lay her eggs. All over the world sea turtles live in warm waters in the ocean. Depending on the species mating season is March-October. Activity increases in parts of the brain that control emotions from people eating, breathing, or drinking sounds. This can cause anger and anxiety to others. “People with this condition, called misophonia, are often dismissed as just overly sensitive,” says Jennifer Jo Brout. “This really confirms that it’s neurologically based.” Researchers did an experiment where they had 20 people with ,misophonia and 22 people without it. Some sounds turned out to sound like a crying baby, but others were normal. Both groups had similar reactions to the normal sounds and the annoying sounds, according to MRI brain scans. The poeple who reacted more were misophonics. The people that had an increased heart rate and skin conductivity also were misophonics. “Sounds most people ignore in their day-to-day listening create a very strong emotional response in misophonics,’ says study coauthor Sukhbinder Kumar. “Their brains are ascribing extra importance to certain sounds. Mosquitoes are caries for some of the most deadly illnesses. A disease caused by mosquitoes (mosquito-borne disease) causes death all throughout the world. There over 3,000 species of mosquitoes in the world. When mosquitoes smell your body odor that’s when they go for the target (you). The females are the only ones that are sucking blood out of you. They need the blood for their eggs and food for themselves, the males and the babies and all mosquitoes need water to breed. Alfred Wegener started studying continents in 1912. He combined evidence he had that show that land was one big piece. The name for this is Pangea, but Wegener originally called it Urkontinent. Most of the world’s continents touch or look like they could be priced together now that they are broken up. Super continents have evolved about 75% of the earth’s continental crust. There is an upcoming supercontinent for the future. This tree named Baobab or the Bottle Tree can grow from 5 to 20 meters. These trees grow in Africa and Australia on low lying areas. Baobab trees have been used for many uses like shelter, a prison, or a storage barn. If you try to kill this tree you are in no luck. The bottle tree is difficult to kill, they can be burnt but new bark will just continue growing. When the tree does start to die, the tree rots inside and just falls. This tree also has white flowers in it that have tartaric acid in them that you can drink. You can also roast the flower and make a somewhat like coffee flavor to drink. The baobab tree is very useful to the human life. The bark from the tree can be made to make rope, cloth, baskets, etc. The leaves are also edible and, glue can be made from the pollen. Gravitational waves are waves that are in space caused by energetic processes in the universe. In 1916 Albert Einstein predicted the existence of gravitational waves. These waves in space can travel at the speed of light. The stronger types of gravitational waves are caused by black holes, white dwarf stars, and more. Even though gravitational waves were predicted in 1916, there was no actual proof until 1974. By this time Einstein was dead. Gravitational waves can be very violent, but if one were to come to Earth, it will eventually get smaller and smaller. A constellation is a group of stars that form different objects or humans. In1922, the constellations were divided into 88 different constellations. It also depends on the time of season of where constellations are visible. Zodiac signs are also constellations that are located where the sun, moon, and all the planes move and there are 13 zodiac constellations total. In ancient times, constellations were very important because the constellations kept track of the calendar and the people knew when to plant crops.
