About the Baobab Reading Club

The Baobab Reading Club is a Pan-African reading circle for people of African descent, and is dedicated to the study of books written by authors of African descent and to the exploration of the histories, ideas, and experiences of the African diaspora.
Each month, the club will focus on one carefully selected book. Members will be introduced to the author, historical context, and central themes of the work before engaging in private reading at their own pace. Weekly live and interactive sessions will provide an opportunity to reflect on key passages, ideas, and themes from the assigned chapters within a dedicated online space where thoughtful discussion and open exchange are encouraged.
All book selections will be in the English language.
If you are of African descent and interested in joining, request membership into the private Telegram group.
