Riddle in his dream imagines that Yuu is able to stay with him due to being more comfortable in a non-magical family and they were able to find you a proper cure. You're both able to be yourselves without the pressure of magic now, how sweet.

leaving this in the tags was just cruel because Grim would be so lost trying to help Yuu but the only thing he's really good at is magic and he's way too small to carry you back to your dorm whenever you end up being too ill to walk or even stand He just has to have faith that you won't get hurt as he runs off to get someone

AND AUGHH MALLEUS

I feel like all of the overblotters would have plenty of guilt when Yuu's sickness comes to light because if they hadn't overblotted Yuu might've had a little more time but Malleus is especially guilty because the one human who doesn't revere him or treat him as anything more than a friend is unable to wake because of him and his actions

I can see each of them helping in their own ways to take care of Yuu. None of the first years are leaving your side btw you have at least one with you at all times and believe me when i say ALL of them are telling their housewardens

Yuu would probably become even sicker at this rate because they can't cough or puke up the blot so they'd have to be placed in some sort of magic nullification area simply so they don't die in their slumber :(

This is still Disney of course so I won't be mean enough to have Yuu die but they're certainly on the cusp of it (Omg i should make a true loves kiss series for this AU that'd be so cute)

I've been rotting my brain with TWST and possible Yuusonas again only to end up being hit upside the head with a Yuu whose body cannot adjust to Twisted Wonderland so their body starts slowly breaking down because it can't process or filter the magic in the air and it only gets worse with each Overblot...

Maybe the first two cases with Riddle and Leona are fine just a bit of dizziness and everyone brushes it off as if they were exhausted from the fight (even if something doesn't sit right in their bones anymore)

but then blot starts spilling from their mouth after the fight with Azul and Jamil and everything feels heavy but they're already magicless and couldn't stand being a burden on anyone else the way they are so they don't tell anyone

Of course there are always those who notice how weary Yuu is becoming, and with Vil and Idia's OB's back to back it only drains on them to the point they're physically weakened and puking blot that their body has no other way of disposing

All of the first years working in their own way to take care of Yuu as their body starts failing them (Grim offering his tuna cans because it's soft enough for them to swallow and cheap enough for them to afford) Adeuce watching Yuu slowly become more gaunt the longer they're here and it's no longer a fear of them leaving it's that they have to leave or they'll die.

Malleus' overblot being so bittersweet because this is the most lively they've seen Yuu in months as they traverse the dreams but once it's all over they're the only one not waking up.

WHAT I WILL WRITE:

⤷ canon x reader! oh my sevens i love canon x reader, they're always so fun.

⤷ platonic, familial, or romantic relationships.

⤷ gn!reader everytime, i want everyone to be included and so a simple default makes things easier but if specified to be afab or amab in a specific topic then that's fine.

⤷ poly relationships!!! i love seeing the dynamics people come up with but my one thing is that they will commonly be closed relationships.

⤷ domestic life, i will die happy if i receive cute domestic requests! marriage, living together, meeting the family, children.

WHAT I WILL NOT WRITE:

⤷ canon x canon, sorry but i don't feel like dealing with ship wars in my inbox :(

⤷ nsfw is a no-no unless i change my mind but slight suggestive scenes or alluding to something at the end can be possible

⤷ romanticization of ortho, gidel, or the staff. i see them all in a familial light and that's the only way it will be here.

⤷ incest, rape, non-con, pedophilia, intense gore, suicide, self harm, and baby trapping.

⤷ crossovers, they're a pet peeve of mine so i just don't write them but feel free to enjoy them elsewhere!

⤷ poems and songfics are difficult for me sadly
