A while ago someone asked about how aunt Crom gets around, and I forgot to answer.

She’s definetely not a runner, that’s for sure. Her walk is kinda like if you somehow took the legs of a monitor lizard, but stuck them to the rigid spine of a pot bellied pig, very determined waddle. Alternatively, she has a kind of a platform thingy, like a stretcher or a simple cart without wheels, where she can sit and be dragged around, usually by her niece (Iacar’s sister).

In the original posts, I bet you couldn’t even see the water pools. Yes, as in pools of water to beat the oppressive humidity of New Orleans’s summers.

Meet Kui’ipo and his wife Leilai! Aawari’s and Silas’ parents ; two sweet, caring Nautolans who lived a simple life and loved their kids more than anything in the galaxy. This is a picture of them with a very young Silas! My headcanon is that baby Nautolans have to live in a shallow tide pool until they’re about 1, only then are their lungs fully able to breathe outside of the water. This is Silas shortly after he became able to live outside the tide pool and on the island with his parents!
