heart as loud as lions

my job just offered me 300 euros per day (post taxes) for every day that i work for them after i quit, "you consult us for a day, we give you 400 euros". (1/4th will go to taxes.) that is INSANE amount of money and all because of my skills that they think are so amazing (and they ARE, took me 15 years to acquire them). they asked for 1-3 days per month. 3 days PER MONTH and i can make enough money for all my bills and groceries and cat needs. jesus fucking christ??? also hilarious they never paid even half of that to me until i quit. i have spent the last hour speechless. 400 per day WHAT A CONCEPT. if i ever was willing to sell my soul to this industry, i guess i could be a lot richer if this is what people want to pay for my skills. instead i will go and do math teaching stuff and earn less than 1000 eurs per month for it. this is what having a soul and living in capitalism does to a person, i guess. anyway. I AM SHOCKED.
