reminders for today:
if you or someone you know might need it in the next few years, purchase plan b. the shelf life of plan b is 4 years, and we might not be able to access it as easily as we can now in the days ahead.
if you are larger/plus size: go online and purchase ella instead of plan b. plan b is less effective if you arenât under 160 pounds.
if you can, purchase books that project 2025 is looking to ban.
mass deportations are starting. if you see ice vehicles or agents, yell ice raid and la migra as loud as you can.
if someone asks who you voted for, keep your mouth shut. theyâre fishing for traitors.
if anyone, anyone at all asks about your neighbors or their legal status in the us, you know nothing. donât be the reason that their family is separated.
if anyone asks about your religion or lack thereof, keep it vague. this administration will look for any excuse to persecute you.
your friends are trans or queer? for the next four years theyâre not. donât expose anyoneâs status as a trans or queer person to anyone else, even if you think you can trust them.
did someone you know get an abortion? no, they didnât. they were never pregnant.
in short, donât be a snitch, and keep to yourself these next four years. weâll make it through this even if it seems hopeless at times.
we can survive this. weâve survived before, and weâll survive again.
in the US we only have 3 genders. american beauty, american psycho, and american pie
What about American idiot
well we all know which gender i am for forgetting this one
I just read that Donald Trump and his circus took down a website called reproductiverights.gov
This was a website to help women learn about their reproductive rights in the US and to find health care.
This is absolutely disgusting so Iâll share in this post some resources in case you need them:
Links to websites of groups that study or provide information about contraception and birth control.
Browse resources for accessing abortion care: find providers, get information and advice, access abortion funds, legal advocacy and more.
Plan C is an information resource for self-managed, at-home abortion with pills. Learn how people in the U.S. are accessing abortion pill op
The National Abortion Federation (NAF) is the professional association of abortion providers in North America. We believe that women should
Call our legal Helpline if you or someone you know has been arrested or is being investigated for an abortion or pregnancy loss.

TUMBLR 101: a helpful guide for tiktok refugees
are YOU a former tiktok user trying to learn how to use tumblr to fill the void the american tiktok ban is leaving in your soul? here are some things you should know, from someone whoâs going on their eighth year on this hellsite:
1. you can say anything on here. gone are the days of having to use words like âunaliveâ and âseggs.â murder! kill! sex! fuck! speak your mind!
2. there is a community for you on here. regardless of what youâre into or however small the fandom is, you have a place here. at least one other person will have heard of your weird obscure interest. strike up a conversation!
3. followers donât matter. tumblr is one of the last remaining social media sites in which your number of followers means absolute jack shit. this can be disorienting at first, but once you lean into the fact that everyone on this website is equal, itâs very freeing. clout means nothing here.
4. similarly, you can post at any time. while tiktok has an algorithm that favors certain times, tumblr has no such algorithm. post whatever you want, whenever you want. every post has virtually the same chance at getting notes, regardless of when it is posted.
5. tags can have spaces between the words! this one is very exciting. tags can be a whole sentence. you can also use the tags to comment on someoneâs post without actually adding onto the physical post itself (which is sometimes frowned upon and called âderailingâ if you use this feature to bring up a completely different point other than the one thatâs being made on the original post).
TL;DR: speak your mind, find your place, followers donât matter, post anytime, have fun with tags!! tumblr is a wonderful site used to share things youâre excited about. be patient with yourself as youâre learning and have fun!
via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a âbig fâking operationâ across sanctuary cities â including Chicago and New York â immediately after President-elect Donald Trumpâs inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.
Starting Jan. 21, multi-day âground operationsâ will be launched across cities that have served as safe havens for migrants because the local authorities do not cooperate with the federal government when it comes to immigration issues, sources said.
This is possibly the coolest video Iâve ever taken.
wow I love this!!
This is so good for my anxiety
Iâve reblogged this so many times

Reblog if your illness does define you
Reblog if your illness has shaped your outlook on life and the world.
Reblog if your illness has warped your perceptions of people and social situations.
Reblog if your illness has altered some of the most fundamental aspects of your personality.
Reblog if your illness has impacted all of your relationships, and even been the reason for the beginning or end of some.
Reblog if your illness is often the cause of your moods and emotions, and affects nearly all of your moods and emotions in regard to other things.
Reblog if your illness has changed the strength of your virtues, from compassion and tolerance, to perseverance and determination, to gratitude and generosity.
Reblog if your illness has been a part of your life for so long that you honestly canât differentiate the parts of your identity that are influenced by your illness from the parts that arenât influenced by your illness.
Most importantly, please reblog this if youâre okay with your illness being on the incredibly long list of things that define you. Reblog if you donât feel like your identity has to be completely undefined by your illness in order be valid. Reblog if you donât necessarily like the parts of yourself that come from your illness, but donât think that makes them any less you.
As much as it seems like it should go without saying, thereâs an overwhelming amount of pressure (mainly from well-meaning abled people) to say that your illness doesnât define youâŚbut something that you experience all the time, every day, in every facet of your life, yeah, thatâs going to have an impact on you, and itâs not wrong to admit that. Itâs not even wrong to embrace it. Your ânormalâ is under no obligation to resemble that of people who live in different circumstances than you do.
This is important. I wish people in my life would stop telling me âyou need to stop living inside your illnessâ like ??? thatâs all I can do, my dudes
me at this point of the year, reacting to any bad news
Doctor: List all your medications and dosages.
Me: *weeps*
You know something bizarre that kind of hit me all at once today? How being chronically ill and searching for a diagnosis strips you of your humanity.
At least half of my life memories include laying in machines for hours, being poked and prodded and touched in places that are usually considered to be violating, having Drs put their fingers and tubes up my asshole and probed my vagina, put tubes down my throat, how Iâve lay unconscious on a table with a whole team of people surrounding me, theyâve cut me open and seen my insides, there have been cameraâs inside of me, so many random men and women in the medical field have seen me naked- people that I donât even know, some people that IâVE NEVER EVEN MET because I was unconsious during the process. Through all of the consious tests and procedures I just remember laying and staring at the ceiling- counting the tiles. âItâll be done soon- just count the tiles and donât you dare cry. Youâre supposed to be the strong one. Youâre used to pain, right? Youâre a warrior. You are a warriorâ But the truth is, no matter how much I tell myself that- I donât feel like a warrior. I feel more like a lab rat.
And Iâm not trying to advocate against the uncomfortably invasive processes of getting a diagnosis. I know the tests are important and theres not much that can be done to make you feel more comfortable. But can we just take a moment to acknowledge that a lot of us have been made to feel less then human just in trying to get a diagnosis. Thats not even taking into account the people that actively try to make us feel like weâre not worth anything when we canât live up to societies ridiculous standards. Being sick in itself strips us of who we are.
Iâm still in that process, and some of you are too. So I just want to remind you that your body is still yours. You are human and you are strong. You are a warrior, but that doesnât mean youâre not allowed to feel. That doesnât mean that you have to keep it in or hide the fact that you are in pain and you feel like youâve been put on display in the most negative way. Itâs ok to be upset. Its ok to talk about. Its ok to cry. Itâs also ok to be positive if that is the kind of approach you like to take- it doesnât make your pain any less valid if you remain an optomist. It doesnât mean you havenât struggled. It doesnât mean youâre faking it if you prefer to use humor as a coping mechanism. However you need to cope (as long as it is safe) you do it. Because you are worth so much more than you have been made to feel like. You are important. Your life is important and you are loved. Iâm here to acknowledge your struggle in the way I wish people would acknowledge mine. Iâm here to say I hear you. I believe you. And Iâm proud of you for fighting for your health and diagnosis. And if no one around you is saying it, I will. You are a warrior. And so am I.
