full of emotions, unfortunately

throwback to that time i played a Big Fucking Creature named Veronica in a once-in-a-larp plot arc that involved this creature and its keeper time traveling by magic to the events of the game to try to stop a necromancer from destroying the region

the game staff set up this whole like....arena thing with glowsticks and (artificial) torches and spooky ambient sound, and every single in-character player was battling every single npc (which is very unusual--normally they set a cap for the maximum number of player characters fighting NPC's so the NPC's don't get overwhelmed. that's actually the only time i've ever seen them conduct a battle of that scale) in the dark.

my character, Veronica, could only walk very slowly because she was an ancient construct so they had to escort me from one side of the battlefield to the other with just ENDLESS skeletons, zombies, and even some wights and vampires coming at them.

it felt like being at the battle of the pelennor fields

it was fucking incredible
