Hollow
You’re not hard to read…just layered.
    That’s the difference.
Anyone can see the charm first—
    the confidence,
the way you take up space
            like it belongs to you.
And you let them.
    You want them to.
Because admiration is easier
        than connection.
And control is easier
        than trust.
I see the rest though…
    the calculation behind your kindness,
        the way every word lands
            exactly where it’s supposed to.
Nothing wasted.
    Nothing accidental.
You don’t just play people…
        you place them.
Move them.
    Keep them where they’re useful.
And when they’re not—
    you don’t break.
        you don’t hesitate.
            you detach.
Clean.
    Like they were never there
        in the first place.
You call that strength.
    But I wonder…
        if there’s a reason
everything has to be a game.
If winning is the only way
            you know how to exist.
Because underneath all that control…
    all that image,
        all that careful positioning—
        there’s something missing.
Not emotion.
        Something steadier than that.
        Something that doesn’t need
            to prove itself every second
            to everyone in the room.
So go ahead…
    be admired.
        Be followed.
            Be believed.
    You’re good at that.
        Really.
