We took a side trip to National Reserve Altos de Lircay just outside of Talca. This is not just an ordinary National Reserve. There are incredible views, challenging hiking, old tree forest, and an Alien landing pad. WAIT WHAT? Yep, hike to El Enladrillado to see what some believe to be an alien launchpad. Keep an open mind and register at the gate, just incase you go missing. Don't bother in the snowy season as El Enladrillado is inaccessible. Read the full article

Everyone takes photos of Horseshoe Bend from top down (including me). That said, we found the river trip more of an experience with great photo opportunities. The guides are usually pretty entertaining. You also get a stopping point for some ancient wall carvings. We tipped the guide, some didn't. If you are there, you shouldn't miss this. The Maroon Bells are located 12 miles south of Aspen, Colorado. From downtown Aspen catch a bus to the Maroon Bells viewing area. However, I took the from the top of Elk Run at Snowmass. If you ski/board, most ski resorts in the area will provide some viewing angle. While once being called "The Deadly Bells" the current name is due to the rock composition color in summer and shape.  Read the full article

This hidden Graveyard is on the beach at Playa Guiones in Nosara, Costa Rica. It's hard to see and access from the beach, instead look for a cut path right across the road from the Beach Dog Cafe. Have you ever looked at a picture that made you feel like you were dreaming? This photo of the evening sky in Potosi, Bolivia gives me that sensation. It reminds me that the early Spanish conquests literally sent mountains of silver from its mines. It reminds me that this town hasn’t quite shaken that sense of oppression from working in literally some of the most dangerous mines in the world. Only in Belize. So most North Americans are aware of the simple beauty of Belize. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, and some pretty incredible Mayan Ruins. If staying at Mahogany Bay on Ambergris Caye, make sure you take a boat ride to the Beach Club. It's the resort's own private beach with all the amenities. The boat leaves several times a day, but we found the 9am was perfect. Read the full article

Ski a Volcano? Well I hope you like rickety lifts, third-tier equipment, shady employees, or the fact that you are ski/boarding an active Volcano. That said, we had the best time at Volcano Villarrica. After a few libations and the comedy of getting set up, the scenery is amazing. You need to check this out experienced or not.
