Now, some of these countries have YT blocked completely, but I really want you to ask yourselves why this video is blocked. Why is it blocked in countries where, as another friend has said, John Oliver is known and watched and trusted. I want you to think about that for a bit, and then I want you to wonder what it is that he says in this video that warrants it being unavailable for half of the world, and which half of the world that is. Why won't they let a white British man speak to the audience of the "western" world. What is it that he has to say? Then maybe watch it, and come to your own conclusions. for the people in the back who haven’t been paying attention: transandrophobia entails the rape, forced impregnation, forced detransition, murder, and suicide of trans men. often before we ever have the chance to leave the closet.

if they get us early: we don’t fit into the mold of girl well and as such are overcorrected and more forcibly socialized than many of our peers. failing that we’re ostracized and ridiculed by our communities.

many spaces we feel are open and welcoming to us are just as rapey and detransition happy as the previous: notably lesbian and sapphic spaces.

failing those if we decide to transition within our communities in enters to aforementioned rape detransition but but with the added flavor of forced impregnation.

if none of the above have driven us to suicide yet, and we manage to do some kind of physical transition. we will be heavily and violently punished by broader society for our gender deviance and confusing secondary sex characteristics.

this is where a lot of the murders occur if they haven’t already from some kind of domestic abuse.

so no, transandrophobia isn’t people just making fun of facial hair. it’s the bodies of transmasculine people you will never come to know because we didn’t get a news story. there was no police report. we are buried as women and the times were killed as men are brushed aside as misdirected transmisogyny.
