About Dangerous Experiments

Tracy Queen, Volume 2: Dangerous Experiments opens with me bored as hell. I’ve left my grandfather’s crime syndicate. And I’m on my way to becoming an empowered, independent woman. I’ve got my raccoon best friend and a budding career as an adult model. But UGH I’ve already done it ALL on cam and I need something new in my life!

But then I make a horrible discovery when I head to the warehouse and find my grandfather’s gang trafficking a new kind of so-called merchandise. I kick some ass. Like a lot of ass. And rescue four young women from a horrible fate.

At that moment, I’m off on a new mission. To destroy harmful ideas about women’s sexuality…by creating hot, consensual adult entertainment that puts me in charge! First, I’ve gotta help the women I rescued get home, transform my warehouse into a film studio, and learn to vet on-screen partners. Meanwhile, I’m sidestepping Grandfather’s surveillance. I’m SO excited for all of you to read the second volume of my journey. The writing by Lynsey G is badass—and it totally tells my story COMPLETELY ACCURATELY. Okay?

The illustrations by Jayel Draco are stunning. Plus, you’ll finally learn Nikola’s origin story! And how I met Natasha Blue! And who the heck is this Dickie Doublefinger guy you’ve heard so much about? Oh, and you’ll get your first glimpse of my sweet Howie. I miss Howie.

The art!

Anyway, now that the book is funded, backers are getting lots of art, too. Art prints galore! Jayel Draco has been busy making awesome art prints of yours truly for delivery to backers.

Oh! And Jayel Draco is far from the only artist attached to the project. There are now SIX other artists involved in Dangerous Experiments! First of all, the cover art was made by the amazing Tangmo Cecchini. Check this gorgeousness out!

Then, inside the pages of the issue, there are four chapter covers created by Shaydens Doodle, Jason Johnson, Dylan Jay Fox, and Sophia Murphy!

And that’s not all. On top of art prints and hand-drawn doodles and sketches by Jayel Draco, backers are getting hand-drawn character sketches by the fantastically talented Pink Pitcher! (By the way, her comic, Root & Branch, is AMAZING and you’ll love it.)

I’m Back! Volume 2 Is Kickstarting NOW!

Last year, the first volume of the graphic novel about ME was released by Oneshi Press! With writing from sex-positive author Lynsey G, illustrations by Jayel Draco, lettering by Cardinal Rae, and cover art by stevieraedrawn, it was met with rave reviews by comics fans, porn-industry insiders, and readers alike.

I guess the world just wants more sex-positive, sci-fi adventures…

The twelve new pages from writer Lynsey G., artist Jayel Draco, and letterer Cardinal Rae go deep. After rescuing several young women from the clutches of my grandfather’s gang, I let them hang out at my place for a while. Then I sent them all on their way. Most decided to head home, but one asked me to go to Los Angeles. I didn’t find out until much later why she’d chosen that city…but you’ll discover her reasons when you read these new pages. You’ll also watch as I make the leap from solo cam work to partnered sex on camera. It was a huge moment for me, and after realizing how much I loved it…I never looked back.

Enter a world where medicine, addiction, and blood have become complicated bedfellows. “Ziegler Box, Part 1” hails from Chaka Brown Freeman, Vicente Alcázar, Greg Gallagher, and Nouri Zander. This art is SOOOO freaking gorgeous, folks.

Up next, return to Children of Gaia with Peter Lampasona and D.L. Johnson. “Carrying Iron” offers our first glimpse into the realm of Terra…and its shady underworld. I totally dig this dark story from a whole new part of the Children of Gaia universe. Talk about healing through redemption…wow.

Then, Oneshi Press debuts its Poets and Artists series! Jenny Williamson’s haunting poem about grief and survival, “Lungs and the Ghosts of Lungs,” becomes sequential art by Libby Bacon. This piece made me cry, but in a good way… I think? You’ll have to read it see if it does the same to you. There’s trauma and healing out the wazoo here.

Follow that up with a badass female superhero who realizes that trauma doesn’t have a quick fix. “A Tale of Good Intentions” is an unsettling short comic from Patricia Loupee and Amy Hay. I love butt-kicking women!

Next, a comic I’m suuuuuper psyched for! “Quantum 1.1” finds a Northern Cheyenne woman grappling with a missing sister and newfound superpowers all at once. Lenny Peppers and James Mason team up to deliver this first installment of a new indigenous superhero comic that I’m so excited to read!

Finally, begin the third arc of Lynsey G. and Jayel Draco’s PACK. Here, the gentrification of these stray vigilantes’ mean streets has begun… And hot masked crime-fighter Patience is having none of that shit.

Look, these pages are packed with art and comics, pleasure and pain, healing and redemption. They’re gorgeous, immersive, and progressive. And I hope you’ll find a bit of your own healing inside!
