So I'll listen to music by "mothy akuno" and I'll order his latest novel and I'll go, "Can I read about the OSS cast I've wanted to know more about for years, please?" And he goes "No. I'm retconning everything." And I go, "Okaaay!" And then I go to the English translator. And then I read her infomines and I go, "Any new information?" And she goes "Yeah, Meta is a mass murderer who killed Eve's entire family and Seth is Adam's abusive adoptive father. Because Mothy hates you. Now read this graphic description of stillborn inbred children, go fetch!" And I go, "Okaaay!" and I go over to Seth's chapter and go, "Can I have some marginally less violent and depressing content, please?" and Mothy goes "NO!" And I go, "Okaaay!" And he goes, "You're a little gay kid with mental illness who wanted your experiences validated through these characters, aren't you?" And I go, "Nooo," and he goes, "SAY IT!" and I go, “I'm a little gay kid with mental illness who wanted my experiences validated through these characters." And then I reach the end of the chapter, and I go, "Can I please see Eve's trauma respected by the narrative?" and Mothy goes "No! In fact, Eve was never affected by the Venom, and everything that happened is her fault!" And I go, "Why are you doing this to me?!" And he goes, "Because I'm mothy akuno, and Evillious is a fucking nightmare!" But with my mutuals, we can just be like, "Let's pretend this book doesn't exist." So it's better.
