“Fuckin’ Hell heatwaves,” he groaned. “I’m this fuckin’ close to shaving…”

"I just don't understand all these colors like this," Alastor huffed, Husk's arm interlocked with his own. "I don't think my color scheme is half bad, but at least yours looks fun and bright, Husker!"
But the conversation was lost to him as those tuft of ears twitched when the music started playing. His face lit up like the ball itself, turning his head excitedly to the bartender. "Ohhhh! Let's dance! Come on, Husker, we can get a drink after! Dance with me, darling!" He was already dragging the feline onto the dance floor, completely in his element.
Husk had been feeling a tad cooped up in the hotel as of late, so to Alastor's surprise, the barkeep seemed much more eager to attend the festivities. While true that the Pansexual flag was one of the more vibrant identities, Husk had opted for something more subtle: a black pinstripe suit with each stripe alternating the familiar magenta, yellow, and cyan stripes.
"There's no rule against altering the shade of your flag, y'know," Husk mused, barely able to finish the thought before he was yanked onto the dance floor. With a stumble and a laugh, Husk wrapped a strong arm around his date's waist and scooped up a crimson claw in the other.
"Seems we both needed a little excitement, huh?" his smile warmed at the exuberance radiating like sound waves off of Alastor.
