A slight redesign for the legend himself, Ugroth Bloodmouth, whom I haven't drawn in what feels like many years now.
My first ever D&D PC and the reason I absolutely L O V E Orcs! This would be his general like post-game look. While his irises were always gold to begin with, the full gold eyes are a post-curse remnant left behind from the golden basilisks. His cursed weapon is still cursed, and in my mind, there are two campaign endgame outcomes:
Canonically, the rest of the team died to a terrasque in a battle I missed out on cause I was sick, so Ugroth wasn't there to potentially help/save them. This was a leveled up final battle to bring closure to a campaign we didn't play all the way through.
Later on, I had a one-on-one with our DM where Ugroth battled a CR 25 ancient red dragon alone...and just BARELY won. So in the timeline where Ugroth was somehow delayed or transported or whatever the reason was separated from the rest of the group, he is the sole survivor.
In MY version, however, either the group was with him or he with the group to fight either of these two big bads all together. They still all took a major beating, but ultimately would be able to win with at least a couple of survivors, and therefore could potentially help revive the rest of the team, happily ever after??
In my headcanon (since we didn't play through a lot of potential storyline stuff), he was able to defeat his brother Naguk in single combat and devoured his heart, as is the way of Bloodmouth.
He either found and killed the dragonborn betrayer, Keskrun, and also ate his heart, or defeated him but it was unsatisfactory so he didn't kill him...unless of course his cursed axe had anything to say about it. In which case he would refuse the eat the heart of "such a weak coward".
If I could do a little rewriting, or well convincing my wife that nobody hates her character rather, then I think they would have had one heated argument that turned violent but then actually made them friends in the end. I swear that's the way it was heading lol but mental health was pretty bad in those days all around tbh.
Finally, in any timeline/au/headcanon, he ends up dating Mikhal the Tiefling bard. The one difference would be if he is ALSO dating Keskrun lmao who knows what could have happened? Bros or BROS you know??
Thank you all so so much, you wonderful, mad bunch! I woke up this morning to find that the project had met its funding goal, and despite inching closer over the last few weeks, I think there was still a part of me that didn't believe that this would actually happen.
Massive thanks to all of you for contributing, sharing etc. I have a lot of people to contact and confirm things with, and will keep you all updated with how things are progressing.
I can't wait to get testing, and will begin weighted training etc. asap so that I can hit the ground running once the armour is complete!
If you specifically want any of the funding tier rewards then you’re welcome to contribute, as additional funds will go towards production costs, but as of now we have raised enough to cover the cost of the armour, maille, and filming, so the project can begin as soon as the kickstarter concludes on Friday!

If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.

everyone who reblogs this and is like "I ordered my own tea this week" or "I only barfed once when I had to give a presentation'- you are doing amazing sweetie. Have patience with yourself, you are relearning a skill so difficult that people get 4 year degrees to do it professionally.
I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while they’re growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think they’ll get bulky as though bulking isn’t a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density 🥀
if you say women are intentionally nerfed from birth in 2026 people look at you like you’re insane and start condescendingly telling you about how women are just better at different things (but not during their periods haha) but this was a completely basic feminist talking point I grew up with like “girls can do it too! [shot of little girls climbing and running with boys]” nickelodeon commercial tier base level I hate it how is everyone suddenly dumber than the average 7 year old

The "hey, your brain was being fried recently here's a refresher on things we talked about" is SUCH a disabled friendship thing. Like, people doing ECT, people with migraines, people with brain fog, when you're delirious from either mental or physical illness or the meds used to treat them, trauma... it's a damn near universal experience because of all the different ways your brainmeats can forget. And it's such an action of love to fill someone in on all the "unimportant" things that only really matter because they're important to you.
