Me on the verge of a mental breakdown: ok time to crochet something

I think I really need to go back on my anti depressants, but I don’t have anti depressant money 😔

After everything my in laws have put us through, the manipulation, the guilt tripping, the excuses…we finally did what we had to to unburden ourselves of them and extricate them from our lives. Like we’re about to never see or speak to these people again, my husband has stopped referring to them as his parents. We’ve risked and sacrificed so much for them over the last year, while they treat us like garbage and just ask for more and more and more. They, of course, made the last day dealing with them as hard on us as possible—costing us more money, and putting a bigger emotional burden on us. And at the end of it, my FIL actually asked if he could hit my pen…the audacity actually surprised me so much I just laughed. And then of course said no. I can’t even articulate why that request pissed me off as much as it did, but also still makes me laugh when I think about it. Just…I can’t imagine being the person who’s so toxic, all the family they have left has either gotten as far away from them as they can, or cut them off, and then still asking something like that as if you’re buds, while your kid is in middle of cutting you off 😅

First world problems, but I sent my pink joy con in to Nintendo to have the drift fixed, and apparently they don’t actually fix them they just send you new ones, and they don’t have any pink ones in stock to replace it with so they asked if I wanted red, blue, or gray instead 😭 so I guess I’m just gonna ask them to return my joy con and deal with the drift, because I’m not losing my pretty pastel pink joy con 😅 aesthetic > function lmao
