My brother's 11-years-younger-than-him girlfriend successfully pressured him into proposing to her. I need them to either elope or to have one of those never actually get married forever-engagements. And then I need her to not change her last name so that I can be less judgemental about her life choices - because anyone who dates my brother is already on thin fucking ice. And then I kinda need him to change his last name so I can watch my parents crash out.

Got up early on a work from home (semi sleep in) day so I could watch anime with the kiddos. Now the work day has started and I am zero motivated to work. I either want to go back to bed for more sleep or back to the living room for more kid cuddles and anime.

I'm accepting a new admin transfer to my team at work, being demoted from another office and I'm nervous because reviews are so mixed that I don't know what to expect. On the one hand one of my colleagues was pulled aside and told not to take her because "no one wants her" so maybe she's terrible(?!) but no one can say why or how other than "she's frequently 5-10 min late for work". .... And if that's literally all, why the fuck would I care????? I chatted with one of her former supervisors and he didn't use the word "bullying" but that's the impression that I was left with. Her old coworkers sound horrible and they were holding her to standards that don't make any sense to me. And like, if they're pulling random people aside to "warn" them now, isn't that just more bullying? It's so inappropriate imo and I don't understand what's happening. Everyone in my experience at the ministry has been so respectful and supportive and on the other side of the office it appears they've been doing mean girl shit for at least a decade, targeting a 60 year old woman because no one likes her enough. Wtf.

Dito got stretch marks on his back from growing too fast earlier this year. I've been saying he's 5'3" because that's what he was 4 months ago when we measured the kiddos for their half birthdays, but checking this morning, he's 5'5" already. I thought I had like two more years, but at this rate he'll be taller than me (5'7") before the end of the year.
