I'm hard at work on the first issue of Toady The Kid, an action comedy adventure comic book due out later this year. It has some advertisements in it. This is one of them.

I made a flyer for a Seattle rock show, and I hope you like it. I drew the banana character at a meetup for artists in my neighborhood, which was really enjoyable. Then I colored it and configured the text at home. I think it turned out fine, but my son says the arms are too low.

The prompt for February 2 was "hero". This is Mike Baron's "Badger", my favorite comic book hero in high school. Drawn without reference, so I think I messed up his logo! I used to be able to draw it without even thinking. I once Sharpied it on a tank top. Those were different times. I wouldn't even own a tank top today!
