Love that the "restorative justice" (the way you've all bastardized that term is honestly criminal) crowd insist their position is not about just letting rapists walk freely like nothing happened but literally all they talk about is being nice to rapists and never about giving any victims any "restoration" or "justice". Not for nothing you don’t protect a community of vulnerable, marginalized people, especially women, by sheltering, harboring, and laundering predators. If you can’t tell a rapist to leave your community you are telling the rapist what they did is okay, and their victims that they were wrong to speak out, wrong to even see what happened as abuse. You have essentially recreated the societal conditions that created their marginalization.

i think understanding the family as a system of ownership over both women and children will lead you to understand both misogyny and the oppression of children a lot better and also be able to draw informative parallels between both
