It means someone is trusting you with something that hurts them! I've been shamed for my vulnerability in the past and if I trust you enough to share some of it then that's a big deal! Sharing pain isn't about attacking or fighting someone it's about feeling safe enough to trust someone with your burdens or a desire to connect deeper with them! It's a big deal! A relationship cannot thrive without vulnerable moments! Vulnerability is sexy! Everyone get more vulnerable!!!
We live on benefits, despite that we don't classify for other assistances with the government, meaning we don't have food security or more help with medications beyond what the free clinic can offer (we don't pay for exams but those take months to get approved). I'm a disabled bipoc lesbian, with daily body pain (back, legs, feet, migraines), pcos, digestive issues, chronic dermatitis, depression, anxiety, ocd, etc... just an overall complicated health... while taking care of my 77yo mother who has her own needs. We can't make it without help, which is unfortunately a huge source of my anxiety.
It's been ONE WEEK without help and we desperatelt need it. If you see this and can help us, under the cut I'll post more information.
This goal will go to: mom's check-up rides after recent eye surgery (one a week!), Uber money to all exams and other appointments (mine and hers!), meds, food. After bills are paid we'll have ONLY $70 FOR GROCERIES. Obviously, $70 won't feed us 31 days.

My mother is 77 years old, she struggles with things "normal" for her age: high blood pressure, cholesterol, trigliceridi, anxiety, sleeping issues, back hernia, allergies and eye problems. I deal with chronic back/leg/feet pain and migraines (also chronic dermatitis, severe anxiety, depression, ocd, possible borderline, and vitamin deficiency to which I need supplements). That being said, we take 10 + meds a day:
Captopril, Losartana, Hidroclorotiazida, Puran t4, Sivastantina, Melatonina, Clonazepam, Duloxetina, eye drops, allergy creams, vitamins (omega 3, vitamin D, b12 and iron), powder replacements + diapers and common painkillers
Benefits + what I make with odd jobs leaves us with more or less $700 monthly, where $350 alone goes to rent, and we can't pay everything else (utensils, medicine, groceries) with only the remaining $400. We end up prioritizing house bills to keep a roof over our heads, but that means food and other necessities are tight. Working is hard when I deal with daily pain and need to take care of mom.
