atmosphere? great . honestly i wish the dogs had shown up more but right in the beginning when you can go outside i was honestly like well i dont want to . the dogs will get me . they should really have shown up every other night like i thought they were going to!!! GOOD sound design in the forest and the slightly spooky bird calls even during the day. also, mickey's house having wallpaper that are the things his four dogs like was a really fun touch

the pacing also works much better than the previous game -- still lots of fetch quests, but they all feel like they're expanding your knowledge or getting you access to something more than just a character dialogue dump. and they get u to come back to the characters in a way that feels way more natural than the last few games. there's slightly TOO many fetch quests at the end when i would have liked it geared towards puzzles (back tracking to get the batteries and then rearranging the sodas???) and there's no dialogue at that point to add to the story. also points off for making me go through the forest maze so many damn times
