What we’re witnessing is bigger than one person. Communities only stay healthy when we hold leadership and organizations accountable. When groups protect harmful behavior or attempt to silence those who speak up, that is not protection. That is complicity.

As my final contribution on this subject, I am releasing the full transcript of my conversation with the AUNT organization regarding my request for assistance and their response, including the condition that I remain silent in order to attend their event. I believe transparency is necessary so that others can make informed decisions.

Accountability is not an attack. It is a safeguard.

If we want safer spaces, we have to stand together and refuse to normalize behavior that violates boundaries or suppresses victims. Silence protects systems. Truth protects people.

Stay safe. Stay strong. Stand together.

I do have a few! This is one of my favs. The position, the reactions, everything about this.

It can be very telling to put a boundary in place and just observe/evaluate a person’s response. Do they become angry and petulant? Do they keep their cool, but try to negotiate in a way that they frame as reasonable and compromising, but is actually just a calm refusal to be told “no” about something that’s important to you?

Beware both of these people - but most of all, beware the second person. They’ve already decided that they’re smart enough to manipulate and gaslight you without you getting wise. Don’t validate their hubris. Watch especially for:

- a sudden increase in cutesy, non-threatening emojis employed as pacifiers

- a long succession of “how about this?” questions that they’ll say are asked for reasons of clarity and knowing where the line is, but are actually designed to weaken your resolve and incrementally shift the goalposts

🦆: Is there a type of lee/ler that you try to duck/avoid?

“Alpha” Lers / “Master Ticklers” when they’ve probably never played with anyone before. Announcing how good of a tickler you are, how you’ve had so many sessions and much more lined up is a big turn off. It’s not attractive or enticing at all.

Disrespectful fans. It’s surreal and lovely to meet people who enjoy my content at gatherings and munches! Unfortunately I have met fans who can’t respect boundaries, and/or have a parasocial relationship with me. They think we are going to play when we meet, when we’re absolutely not. I don’t get where the idea comes from that because someone is a content creator means they’re going to play with you specifically, or just anyone. I am still a full human being with my own boundaries and needs. You only know the toadallytickles social media pages, not the person running them.

Lees that brat unconsensually. Immediate turn off.

Of course anyone who can’t respect boundaries, and lacks kink/play etiquette and education.
