i love animal jam… this is the first time i’ve had actual conversations with people around my age in literal years. i’m hoping it’ll get better once i go to college but i have been completely isolated from other people for about 4 years now (switched to a mostly online school, wasn’t close enough to keep in touch with the few people i did know previously) so it’s been really incredible being able to socialize again, even if it’s behind a cartoon animal avatar. also the fact that basically everyone one the game called animal jam likes animals immediately helps me establish a common ground because animals are my primary and almost only interest. it’s really hard for me to find ways to relate to other people but i haven’t had that issue as much on there. i’ve found a lot of people that have the same interests as me and it’s so hard to find that anywhere else
