Played minecraft with my friends on Friday night. And hung out with ais for a bit to try remove my Mac screen. The screen is broken so I wanted to remove the screen to just use the keyboard and plug it into a monitor (last photo). We didn’t have the right screw drivers so I waited till the next day and bought the parts I needed and did it on my own!

Today starts off on a sad but good note . My friend I made in chem 150, ais, is leaving for Otago :( . He’s leaving to do first year health science to eventually get into med school! His initial plan was to do a 3 year physiology degree and enter postgrad but he found out he could do FYHsc, so Slept the night at ais’ to lock in for ucat study :|. I got a horrible first score obviously but I’ve got like 6 months before the exam. For some reference the ucat is a test people do to get into med school. I scored 1200 🫣. I have a lot of work to do but that’s the grind.

Got my anti eyebrow piercing taken out, that shit was so sore.

Finished off the day studying some chem and ucat. (Across from some artwork at uni that Bianca’s dad did!)

I then biked into uni to do my test which brings us to now, have a good day

Went and got a coffee this morning with Julia (my partners mum) at Sose’s (my partners little sister, so I don’t have to say names again my partners name is Bianca) work.

We then went to ikea, as there was an issue with a chair that Julia bought for Sose’s room. I hadn’t been to the ikea here before so I walked around and sipped my coffee, and took some photos of my favourite displays. IKEA is so crazy to me, everything is so cheap but still looks so elegant, yeah just crazy.

Did chem 150 for like 2 hours at 03, started off well but started feeling so geeked after I had a coffee, didn’t realise how low my tolerance had gotten.

After this we went to my house, I made some dinner and breakfast for the next day so we could lock in at the halls for an all nighter of studying! WOOHOOO *genuinely not sarcastic*

The all nighter wasn’t even like cramming im all up to date on my studies and almost always over prepared. It was what you could call elective study I guess? It’s still study that’s going to help for my degree but I guess it’s just not necessary right now.

Anyways, ended up studying from like 10:30pm- 4:30am. I was really just getting enticed by the information I was reading and couldn’t pull myself away.
