ngl it’s so crazy to me that some people think andrew choking kevin was out of character for him. there’s plenty of evidence to suggest otherwise, but the scene where he goes after allison in particular shows that when andrew’s promises conflict with one another, (ex. aaron vs neil), he prioritizes the one that he deems most pressing in that moment. what’s more, if someone stands in the way of andrew’s efforts to protect someone, he will always, ALWAYS, escalate. it’s a knee-jerk reaction. it’s tunnel-vision. choking kevin was not a premeditated decision to hurt someone he cares about, it was a goal-oriented response to the fact that neil was in danger. i’m not saying that characters cannot be poorly written, but as @andrewminyard-josten has articulated before, it’s really crazy to refer to the CANON CHARACTER as ooc because he doesn’t match your perception of him.

how vindicated do you think matt felt when he learned that andrew would hurt kevin over neil too?

Thinking about how Neil thought he was going to die and still wanted to be with Andrew. How he thought his last words to Andrew would be "Thank you, you were amazing" and hoped Andrew would understand that it wasn't just about the game. That Andrew would understand Neil meant I love you.

I can’t stop turning around the fact Aaron waived his right to a jury. How big of a risk it was to let his fate rest on the decision of a judge. But also how it allowed Andrew to take the stand without even more prying eyes on him. How a group of jurors didn’t get to hear his testimony of abuse and decide if he was telling the truth or if it was enough to make Aaron’s action justifiable. How Andrew was risking so much of himself to testify and Aaron protected his twin as much as he could by risking himself.

thinking a lot about Neil and Katelyn never getting the twins confused. not because of their looks but the micro mannerisms that only they notice. and one day one of the twins mocks the other, maybe Aaron mimicking Andrew’s dramatic shrugs or Andrew repeating back with Aaron said in the Exact tone and cadence. and Neil and Katelyn just. stare. for a solid minute. and then start yelling in equal disgust NEVER do that again, that was appalling you BECAME him- OH MY GOD IS THIS WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SEES??

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

I couldn't remember the word "doorknob" ten minutes ago.
