Do you ever wonder if Riko was always cruel? Like we know that by the time Jean joined the nest he was but Riko (assuming he's Kevin's age) would have been 15/16 when that happened. So was Riko always cruel, or did that happen after years of Tetsuji's abuse? Was he once a kind person, someone who loved Kevin genuinely? or did he always see things as his toys?

Do you think Riko hated how despite not wanting his father's attention at all Neil still had it, meanwhile Riko would never have his own father's attention despite how much he tried? Or what about the fact that Neil met Ichirou before Riko did?

Reading TSC is interesting in relation to Perfect Court, cause during TRK I always interpreted it to actually not have anything to do with exy and simply being a ranking of your place in relation to Riko. But Jean's books imply it was actually both, which is sad when you think about it. It was once again a method of control and Riko's attempt at getting his father's attention

Andrew grew up in California and was there until at least mid-teenage years. So for all intents and purposes Andrew would have a californian accent
