Taking a look at Rent-A-Hero
After getting knocked around by a Kamen Rider who later went on to shill Sega Saturn's, I decided to examine Rent-A-Hero's guest appearance in Fighters Megamix.
A Time was had by one(me.)

Vacant Care is available on Bandcamp and Ko-fi.
"Nothing changes if nothing changes." - David Goggins. And damn, do I feel that.
My latest blog post breaks down the lyrics to "One Thing" from Vacant Care. It's a raw, unfiltered look into my headspace – the need for solitude, the frustration with stagnation, and the push to break free from old patterns.
This track is all about cutting out the noise and focusing on what matters. It's about pushing through the pain, embracing the solo grind, and refusing to play the same old games.
From wrestling metaphors to Goggins quotes, these lyrics are a direct line into my mind. It's about finding clarity in the chaos and refusing to let anyone hold me back.
"Leave it for my pen to wail, my hand won't speak..." ✍️

Talk is cheap. I've heard a lot from people who can't spare the bullshit to make a change in their lives. If you want me to pay attention,
"Talk is cheap." Heard that one before? Yeah, me too. But I'm not just talking about it. I'm putting it into words... with a twist. 😉
My latest blog post, "Thoughts on Vacant Care: One Thing," dives into the meaning behind the music, the wordplay, and why action trumps empty promises.
Spoiler: I had a little too much fun with the wordplay. 😈
If you're tired of the noise and ready for some real talk, check it out.
I scrapped a song early in the process of writing Vacant Care . When I say early, I'm talking the stage where I recorded example flows and r
Ever wonder what secrets are hidden in the lyrics of your favorite album? 🤔 I just dropped a new blog post diving DEEP into a hidden narrative in my album, Vacant Care. It's all about the word "try" and how it ties together a chain of thoughts throughout the tracks.
I'm talking about:
The hypocrisy of those who preach while flaunting wealth. (idc)
The masked intentions of those who offer "gifts." (Heavy)
The denial tactics of grifters. (Sayin')
The illusion of change and the aftermath of broken promises. (Depth of Field)
Basically, I'm breaking down how the word "try" acts as a breadcrumb trail, revealing a sub-plot about facing dishonesty, manipulation, and the constant struggle to navigate a world filled with hidden agendas.
This ain't just about the music; it's about the message. It's about recognizing the patterns and questioning the motives behind the actions of those around us.
If you're into lyrical analysis, deep dives, or just wanna understand the thought process behind Vacant Care, this one's for you.
Peep the full breakdown on my blog.

Villains aren't supposed to fit in.
My latest blog post, "The case for not having/wanting to fit in: Daniel Dumile (MF DOOM)," dives into why DOOM's unapologetic individuality is a blueprint for artistic freedom.
Let's be real: DOOM didn't give a damn about hip-hop's culture politics or chasing the mainstream. He created on his own terms, and that's why his music resonates so deeply.
Think about "Rapp Snitch Knishes." Who else would tackle self-incrimination with such a hilariously poignant parody? It's the kind of bold, fearless art that comes from refusing to conform.
DOOM's approach wasn't just about the beats (though those were fire 🔥). It was about the writing, the concepts, the sheer audacity to be himself. He showed us that true artistic value comes from creating for the sake of creation, not for accolades or trends.
"Rap snitches, tellin' all their business Sit in the court and be their own star witness…"
That playground energy, that fearless satire – that's DOOM. He reminded us that art can be both profound and playful, and that laughing at the absurd is a powerful form of commentary.
So, if you're feeling pressured to fit a mold, take a page from DOOM's book. Embrace your weird, follow your own path, and create something that's truly yours.
Read more about why DOOM's legacy is so important to me:
MF DOOM 's catalog, whether he receives praise for it or not, is the main reason I don't stress over hip hop's culture politics, or having l
Ambition: It's not a flavor, it's a potion. 🍶
If I could bottle ambition, the recipe would be: 1 part curiosity, 2 parts "screw it, let's try," and a dash of "victory fanfare" when you nail it. 🏆
Seriously, you gotta WANT to discover new things. That's the secret sauce. Forget trends, forget accolades – create for YOU. Be your own audience. 🎭
My latest blog post, "Quenching your thirst via the potion of doing," dives into this. I'm talking about:
Why failure is just data for your ambition fire. 🔥
How creating art (or anything, really) is the ultimate game. 🎮
The underrated power of progression and seeing how far you've come. ✨
And why I'm currently obsessed with Virtua Fighter 3tb and throwing people off rooftops. (It's an ambition thing, trust me.) 😆
Think of ambition as your personal quest. The reward? Pure, unadulterated satisfaction. And maybe a few digital knockouts. 🥊
So, ditch the "what ifs" and grab your potion of doing. Let's get curious!
If I could bottle ambition , the recipe would have to include an adventurer's spirit . 🍶 There is simply no way to accomplish anything whe.
Are you a doer or a tryer? 🤔
My latest blog post, "Thoughts on Vacant Care: Heavy," dives into this very question. It's about the fundamental difference between those who make things happen and those who… well, don't.
"The doers have a natural disdain toward the tryers. One group is determined to advance, while the other is set to squander their time in favor of playing around."
That line hit me hard. It's a raw, unfiltered look at the work ethic divide. It's about the frustration of seeing potential wasted, the drive to push forward, and the weight of carrying that determination.
This post isn't just about my thoughts on the Vacant Care album; it's about the mindset behind it. It's about the choices we make and the paths we take.
If you've ever felt the pull of ambition, the sting of wasted time, or the drive to be more than just a "tryer," you might find something in this post that resonates.
Check it out and let me know: where do you fall on the spectrum?

What if... CM Punk vs. KENTA... in Virtua Fighter? 🤯
Yeah, I know, it's a weird crossover. But hear me out! My latest blog post dives into the tragedy of never seeing Punk vs. KENTA in AEW, and how it ties into… Jeffry McWild from Virtua Fighter?
Stick with me.
The whole "GTS" drama got me thinking about Jeffry. Dude's a fisherman who fights like a beast, and he invented a move that's basically a wrestling finisher. He's low-key legendary! 🎣🥊
And can we talk about how he SHOULD HAVE BEEN in SEGA Bass Fishing? Imagine Jeffry yelling while reeling in a digital bass. Pure gold. I'd pay someone to ROM hack that. 💰
Anyway, back to Punk vs. KENTA. The GTS is iconic, but the real question is: who did it better? And why couldn't we get this match?! 😭
Basically, my brain went from wrestling drama to obscure Virtua Fighter lore in 0.2 seconds. If you're into wrestling, fighting games, or just weird hypotheticals, you'll dig this post.
The biggest travesty with Punk's messy departure from AEW is that we never got to see him feud with KENTA. Before I go any further into tha
"I don't care who winning anyway"
That's the core of "idc," the anthem for my life lately.
I'm done trying to control anything outside of myself. People gonna do what they gonna do. Wanna stay still? Go for it. Wanna chase your dreams? More power to ya.
I've found peace in simply allowing. Letting everything be exactly as it is. The world can crumble around me, and I'll just shrug. 🤷
My steeze? It stays the same. No matter what.

Wrestling and Fighting Games are the worlds greatest tag team
Virtua Fighter 6 hype got me diving deep into the archives, and I stumbled upon something glorious: Wolf Hawkfield's HELLAVATOR! 🤯
Yeah, that's Matt Morgan's signature move, and it's in Virtua Fighter. Because Wolf Hawkfield is a legend. 🐺
My latest blog post, "The Virtua World of Wrestling: Hellavator," is a deep dive into why this move is so awesome, and why Wolf Hawkfield is basically the coolest video game wrestler ever.
We're talking about a character so iconic, he inspired a real-life wrestler, Jim Steele, in All Japan Pro Wrestling. And he even showed up in Giant Gram! 🤯
Plus, I rant about Vince McMahon's... interesting booking choices and how he wasted big men like Matt Morgan. (Justice for Lord Tensai!) 😤
If you're a wrestling fan, a Virtua Fighter fan, or just someone who appreciates a good vertical suplex sideslam, you NEED to read this post.

Ever feel like you're just a battery in the media machine? 🔋
My latest blog post, "Look Down: I regulate the hands of my fate," dives into how we're constantly bombarded with distractions disguised as entertainment. Think about it: TV, radio, even YouTube – it's all about selling ads. 💸
Are we just here to feed the beast? Were your favorite shows sacrificed at the altar of the GEICO pig? 🐷
I'm not here to give you all the answers, but I am here to tell you: You have control.
I unplugged from the TV years ago, and I'm learning to regulate my attention like a thermostat. 🌡️ It's been a journey, but I'm feeling a hell of a lot better than I used to.
Shoutout to the random YouTube algorithm for throwing me some real gems – people who talk sense and help you navigate this chaotic world. (Also, shoutout to the cringe compilations for the comedic relief. 😆)
Ultimately, it's about taking back your power and deciding what you consume. You're not just a passive viewer. You regulate the hands of your fate.

I wanted a game, but got a visual novel PSP thing.
I tried to play .hack//Link recently(emphasis on tried).
Seriously, I'm an hour in and I've spent most of my time skipping cutscenes. They're longer than my attention span after a 3-hour energy drink! 😴
And don't even get me started on the intro... It looks like it belongs to a completely different game! Did they accidentally use the wrong footage? 😂
But hey, at least the combat has this weird "hot potato" mechanic where you bully enemies in the air. That's kinda fun, actually. 🔥🥔 (Someone please tell me this isn't the only good thing about this game...)
Also, why is the main character so... generic? We're talking RandomAnimeNumbSkull No.533892 here. Give me Bear from .hack//SIGN any day! He'd be a way more interesting protagonist. 🐻
Oh, and apparently there's a relationship system? Like, I gotta build bonds with my party members? I just wanna hack and slash, not worry about who's getting friend-zoned! 🤦♀️
Anyway, if you're a fan of visual novels with a sprinkle of action RPG, .hack//Link might be your jam. But if you're looking for a fast-paced, action-packed experience... maybe stick to Gauntlet Legends. 😅
I decided to check out this game because I can emulate it and don't have to spend money on Sony products to play it now remember liking the
Thoughts on the intro for my Vacant Care album.
Digging deep into "Action," the opening track of Vacant Care. 💥
My latest blog post breaks down the raw emotion and meaning behind some of the most powerful lines on the album. It's about drawing lines, facing limitations, and the inevitable disappointment that comes with it.
Can't control people, but I can damn sure draw a line in the sand just so there's no confusion on just how disappointed I am at their limits. 😤
The whole track is about setting boundaries and refusing to tolerate bullshit. It's about acknowledging the things you can't change, but making it crystal clear where you stand.
If you've ever felt the frustration of dealing with other people's limitations, this post is for you. I'm unpacking the inspiration behind "Action" and exploring the themes of control, disappointment, and the power of setting boundaries.
Dive into the meaning behind the music.
