Interesting thought there... I believe it is subjective within all of us. I agree that it does say a lot about society. Where the attractive are mourned over the loss of their beauty instead of their soul, it is a painstaking reminder of a shallow yet conditioned reaction instead of genuine regard for what has been loss. I have a profound connection with butterflies myself and they have been an integral part of my humanity. When I first heard of my friends' stories of how child them crushed and tortured a butterfly, I felt a strong reaction and startled them. To them it was not a big deal. To me, these butterflies were one of life's beautiful reminders of the souls I've seen that passed away day-to-day. They bring a sense of calm and symbolizes a positive event/impact is going to make my day for me.

Don't worry about reading too much into it, I admire your sensibility and instropection. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

If I could be treated like a feral animal, someone whos willing to be gentle but persistent..

Being fed and bathed even if I scream my bloody head off... but they simply don't understand because they are taking care of me.

Trying to get violent only to get restrained or punished.
