The Scrap Yard

Hello, Hello. So I lost my last email for my tumblr but some of you might know me as @upsidedownproship. You can call me Scrap. I use They/Them and He/Him pronouns.

Garroth and Zenix, if they were together, would be so toxic. Mostly Garroth 'accidently' hurting Zenix. Garroth tugging too hard when brushing Zenix's hair, yanking Zenix by the arm, hard enough to leave bruises and the like.

Garroth would get off on seeing Zenix covered in bruises that he made. It's basically labelling Zenix as his. Zenix is his and no one elses.

Garroth also gets super jealous when Zenix hangs out with any of his friends. Garroth would totally make Zenix feel guilty, saying stuff like 'you don't spend that much time with me' or 'do you even like me? You seem to prefer Gene / Sasha.'

In Regular MCD, Garroth doesn't really act on his feelings for Zenix, just because he doesn't want to ruin the bond the two have. After all Zenix sees Garroth as a father figure, right? There's no way Garroth can take that away from Zenix so he just keeps it inside. Zenix meanwhile wouldn't mind if Garroth was more affectionate, at least before he turned and attacked phoenix drop. Honestly, this mfer wanted Garroth's undivided attention so bad, he just didn't say anything because he didn't want to look weak. What if Garroth decided that Zenix wasn't worth protecting anymore?

Zenix still likes Garroth after his attack on Phoenix Drop. He just (thinks) knows that Garroth would never see him the same way as he does. In PDH / Mystreet, Zenix would always be looking for ways to get under Garroth's skin. Very much bullying the guy he thinks is handsome. Plus Garroth's expressions are way too cute to pass up. Garroth thinks Zenix looks cute but absolutely despises the front he puts up around people. Very much "I would date you if you weren't a jerk" vibes. Although sometimes Garroth gets a glance at Zenix being genuine and wants to know more about Zenix.

Zenix has issues though and doesn't want to let Garroth close enough to hurt him. Garroth, similarly doesn't want to put himself out there to be made fun of or mocked. In his head, Zenix could easily be luring him into a trap. Zenix believes that Garroth wouldn't like who he really is and puts a front up, pretending like he doesn't care.
