call me a freak or whatever, but one of my deepest fantasies is going to a thrift store and seeing a plushie that's been through the wringer and bringing it home to give it a new life. hand stitching to repair rips in the fabric, giving it a bath to clean up the matted fur and get out all that dirt, gently drying it with a warm towel, then bringing it to bed with me and tucking it in with a little kiss on the forehead, giving it the love it so desperately needs to feel again.
