Looks like *someone* stole my business idea
My partner and I cancelled our Adobe accounts today because of this. Imagine if makers of physical art media had the right to pilfer your sketchbooks because you used their pencils and paints. That’s basically what Adobe is trying to foist on everyone.
These guys are way too famous for overreach. WTF.
Here's how to cancel for free
How to cancel your adobe subscription without paying the cancellation fee.

Interesting how we were all groomed that the "Commies are bad", and Russia was our enemy.
Also, the fact that the right wingers now suck russian dick, essentially making them post-commie commies.
And things youngin's might not know, Part 6,882: Red is the color of communism, or was in the 20th century. The republicans used to be thought of as "BLUE", and the Democrats were "RED". Sometime in the soul-fucking that was the '80s, those colors switched.
The color switch is even dumber and more recent than that. When showing the electoral map, the TV channels used to switch back and forth between red and blue representing Dems and Republicans, but the 2000 election (which had Republicans as red and Democrats as blue) dragged on so long that "Red States" and "Blue States" got cemented the way they are now. Like, if you voted in an election for or against Trump, then you're older than the idea of Red States and Blue States
heyyyyy reminder for other cane users.
don't forget that cane tips need to be replaced.
i've been using my cane for almost two years on a near daily basis and i JUST switched out the tip and
[image IDs in alt text]
the new tip versus the old tip. i'm not sure how clear it is but, YEAH, there's like. half a millimeter of tread left on the old tip, if that
the replacement was LITERALLY 2 dollars. i bought two to justify the four dollar shipping but. TWO BUCKS.
i had noticed that i was having slipping issues on linoleum recently, but i did not realize how bad the issue had gotten until the new tips came so. PLEASE check your cane treads and if they're notably worn out PLEASE get yourself a new tip they're SO cheap and the grip i get on the new one is INSANE
please don't forget to replace your cane tips!
a lot of hardware stores will also have them in the same place as the rubber tips for chair legs!
I strongly recommend, when replacing your cane tip, consider a self-standing cane tip. They're sturdier, have better traction and keep your cane from falling over all the time. And they're only like $10!

My *very* pro-life father's reaction when I told him we were going to adopt a child soon the foster system: "why?"
“It’s like the people who believe they’ll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn’t work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you. If you see what I mean.”
— Neil Gaiman, The Graveyard Book
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, to listen to doctors and get my flu vaccine and any shots i could because they remembered Before.
then they started fighting Covid precautions.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that the ozone was disappearing and the earth was dying and we needed to recycle and save the planet.
now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.
you can guess who they voted for.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, so very much.
when did they forget?
Time to bring this back. Again.
Apparently this is evergreen. Dammit.
I remember adults telling me, as a kid that girls can be equal to boys in all fields including athletics. Now, they consider girls to be delicate flowers who could never hope to compete against boys.
Rupert Murdoch should be burned alive.
How much of it is Fux """"News"""" and the republicunts, and how much of it is good ol' lead posioning? No matter what's causing boomer brain worms, let's all agree to not age so shittily, yeah?
Travis Mercer and Jeremy Adams hinting at a project involving Steph Brown that seems to be in the works.
I absolutely love this design. It's like a combination of my two favorite costumes for her

32-hour work week is the result of increased worker productivity. Workers earned it.
Compare to Republicans who want you to work until you're 70 while they attack your earned benefits.
Nightwing #112 Preview - Oddly Appropriate Considering Zack Snyder's Recent Comments
Which was him going on Joe Rogan's podcast and saying that Batman needed to murder people to remain relevant, which is something that many people (including Grant Morrison) have disputed.
Doctor Who - Title Drops during the Fourth Doctor Era
"Oh boy, I only usually only get this excited when they say the title of a movie in the movie!" - Peter Griffin, Family Guy "Episode 420", 2009
Clips from: Robot, Pyramids of Mars (okay, so Sarah actually says Pyramid of Mars, but it's close enough for me!), The Brain of Morbius, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, Underworld, The Pirate Planet The Armageddon Factor, Shada, The Leisure Hive, Meglos, Full Circle, State of Decay, The Keeper of Traken, Logopolis
Perhaps Shada, Meglos, and Logopolis are pushing the definition of the trope a bit, but their inclusion rounds the running-time up to a minute, so what the heck. Besides, I only compiled this for shits an' giggles.

Oppression is a big part of capitalism. If someone uses worker solidarity and collective bargaining to improve their situation, try to enjoy their liberation. It could be you one day.
Same with equal rights. If you are upset about equity, inclusion, and diversity, you are addicted to your oppressive privileges.

How we talk, dress, look, and cry
They told us we were girls
So we claimed our female lives
Now they tell us we aren't girls
Our femininity doesn't fit"

“I set you free!”
The Tomb of the Cybermen - season 05 - 1966
New Who Cybermen will never be as absolutely pants-shittingly terrifying as Classic Who Cybermen
I’m sorry friends, but “just google it” is no longer viable advice. What are we even telling people to do anymore, go try to google useful info and the first three pages are just ads for products that might be the exact opposite of what the person is trying to find but The Algorithm thinks the words are related enough? And if it’s not ads it’s just sponsored websites filled with listicles, just pages and pages of “TOP FIFTEEN [thing you googled] IMAGINED AS DISNEY PRINCESSES” like… what are we even doing anymore, google? I can no longer use you as shorthand for people doing real and actual helpful research on their own.
Time to drop some links again.
– https://searchmysite.net/ Search engine for the indie web, personal websites, digital gardens. You can also find them in websites like Neocities, Indieweb, Blogarama, and write.as. There is also a big list of personal websites.
– https://search.marginalia.nu/ Search engine that focuses on non-commercial content, and promotes websites that aren’t usually at the top of the list.
– https://www.worldcat.org/ Search engine for items in libraries (books, but also maps, articles, sound recordings, theses, etc.)
– https://scholar.google.com/ Search engine for scientific papers, reviews, etc. It’s still google, but a lot better than the normal search engine counterpart.
– https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_search_engines A list of search engines sorted by subject, area, and more. If you’re searching on a specific area, it might be worth checking if there is one focused on that area.
– https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_academic_databases_and_search_engines A list of academic databases and search engines.
– https://tineye.com/ Reverse image search alternative to Google’s. Also, P.S.: Please stop using Google, and start using more privacy focused search engines, like DuckDuckGo or SearchX (opensource; personally haven’t used it yet, but it looks promising for privacy-focused users)
And if it doesn't give you pages of shitty vaguely-related listicles, it sends you down an alt-right/pseudoscience pipeline
