But he hears noises coming from it and sees the light. "Hello?" He calls out, wondering if his laptop had somehow picked up on some kind of distress signal. Rocky watches from nearby, and Grace wants to reassure his friend that everything is alright. But he doesn't know yet what is going on with his laptop. He should figure that out first.

"Where the hell is Yuwan?" a woman dressed in purples and whites snarled as her hand got enveloped in purple light. "If you've hurt him I will find you and I will-"

"Isabelle!" A younger blond woman snapped. "Look at him, I don't think he'd be in a fair fight against a cat."

Isabelle's eyes flicked over Grace's frame analyzing him. After a moment the purple glow is gone. The blonde gives her a 'now make up' glare eliciting a loud sigh from Isabelle.

It harms your lungs and it’s especially bad for children (and pets!) or anyone with health problems. There are all kinds of chemicals in that smoke. It’s not only trees that are burning. The heat already makes it harder to breath. This makes it worse.

Event flavor text:

Yuwan Gilfrei has seen the collapse of The Shadowverse, lived through it blinking out of existence. Thanks to the intervention of a being from outside the worlds he knows he has been sent back in time to before the total collapse. He has been given the means to seek out help from the worlds beyond in order to prevent catastrophe, though not without a heavy cost: if he tells anyone about her involvement she'll destroy The Shadowverse herself.

I've always wanted to try my hand at a blog event on here and found an excellent opportunity in the shutdown of one of my favorite games (spite is an excellent motivator). With your help the worlds that were built there can be, at least in my weird ass canon, saved.

I am aware that this game does not have much of a fandom or rp presence on here but I'm hoping that this event brings people in.

I will periodically post drabbles that give an idea of how the storyline is progressing and how your participation influences said progression.

Unrelated to koroks, I posted the first chapter of my Zelink Week 2026 story yesterday. It's silly and fun and I want you all to enjoy it so here's a excerpt of that too:

Revali barked a startled laugh. “Does he somehow think the Calamity is going to conveniently wait another decade or more for your heir to master some powers?” “Maybe he's hoping I’ll be able to control the powers of an unborn child?” “You mammals are so weird,” drawled Revali.

A daughter? This thing had children? Did they also serve their parents the same way Sons and Daughters served Father and Mother?

"That sounds like a nice name," he responds, not sure what else to say about the story and idea of this person. He had a habit of switching how he thought about the voices that contact him.

'How many voices has it been so far?'

There was a long pause before she switched gears and answered his question.

"It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, I'm presently in the forest. It'll be controlled burning season soon and I promised Shayla that I'd help figure out which parts of the forest need it the most. From the ground it almost looks like the trees are holding up the sky itself. At least 5 adults linked hand in hand would be needed to encircle it. They have black bark which shines like obsidian when wet. The leaves are deep oranges and golds but turn green in the fall. Growing on the trees are orchids which have adapted to be able to withstand the heat by climbing upward before the fires start.

To my left I can see a small pack of WACs. They look a bit like if evolution wanted a bat but was given a lizard. They have fur made of natural carbon fiber which renders them mostly immune to the flames. I've seen them hunt before and it's quite a sight. It appears that they're nosing some of the seed casings that have fallen onto the ground. They hold decent nutrition but need high heat to crack open. Though that hasn't stopped the more stubborn individuals that have learned some basic tool use.
