If a disabled person is waiting for an elevator, especially a wheelchair or bulky mobility aid user, you need to let them in, even if that means you have to take the next elevator.
Go watch the quest for the rainbow bagel, if it's still on YouTube. The guy has to wait as elevator after elevator after elevator is too full for him. Ultimately, he crawls down the stairs and has his companions carry his wheelchair for him. This is difficult, dangerous, and could break his chair- breaking his legs, essentially.
All because people who can walk were too selfish to let him on.
You can squeeze into a packed elevator. Bulky aid users can't. So get out, encourage others to get out, and let them in. You just have to say, "oh, you definitely can't go down the stairs, but the elevator is too full for you to squeeze in. I'll get out to make room for you and take the next one." It will pressure others to help.
This also applies to bathrooms, by the way. "Oh, you need the accessible stall. I can use any stall. Why don't you go ahead of me so that you can use it when it's available."
Standard disclaimer that non apparent disabilities exist and some might need the elevator/stall. If you have trouble with standing, I highly recommend getting a foldable seat or a cane seat. I sit on mine when I need to wait.
Anyone else body throw out a sick fever with baseline pain? My lower back up to the sides of my chest have had this pain since I was 16. Right now as I'm typing this on this hard ass library bench for the night my body is on fire even with wall support!. đđ Heard a lady during closing say, "The housing assistant funds are already gone! They won't refill until next October."

Chronic pain is like: I'm in pain. "Well, you really shouldn't let that stop you from doing things." Ok, I guess I'll keep doing this even though I'm in pain. "Well, if the pain was really that bad, then it would stop you from doing things, so it's probably not that bad." Actually, it got worse because I kept doing things. "Well, why would you overdo it and hurt yourself? You should know your limits." Ok, fine. I know my limit, and I have reached it. I need to rest. "Okay, but last week you did all this other stuff, so I know you CAN do more, so I think you're just making excuses?" Ok.

On here just to get it out. I'm tired of having to STUGGLE survive my whole life, from watching the rent go higher and higher $500 to $1500 for the same little shitty places I've seen for years. Careful with schooling I think trade school would be fuckin enough to land something soild and keep my husband and I out of the elements. NOPE old white men just hog up these positions then slide their fuck ass son/cousin or nephew in the spot and HE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE FUCK HE DOING!!! I've got qualifications up my ass and nobody will hire me.. I'm sick of settling for the bare minimum cuz I don't know anybody fuck ass family.
The Good and Bad news.
Let's start off with the bad news, We were kicked out of the cemetery by some white man claiming he's the owner (I've never seen him in my life and I've been visiting this cemetery since I was 14 and sleeping there for 3 weeks) He got hostile and threatened to call the pigs on us and we let him know there's no need for that we've got my friend with her car on the way and we got out of there as soon as she got there.
The good news.
I got the $59 together for 8/1/26 to keep my storage unit, Thank you to those who donated, but I will need help getting another $59 together throughout the next month for 9/1/26
My Husband is still hunting for a job that will accomadate his disability and is still trying to sell art commissions
I am doing what I can to make money while disabled and not having SSI, so far I can make $5/week through FiveSurveys but that isn't enough on it's own to get the $59 for 9/1/26 so If you can please donate to $DexnThaDawg420 or reblog this so people who can help find me.

Like as opposed to the 16% of my gross paycheck that goes to private insurance, that won't cover shit unless i call my insurance company, then my doctor, then my pharmacy, then my doctor again because theyre pretty sure insurance got approved then my insurance company because they didn't get the letter, then my doctor again, then the pharmacy again, and then the copay i still am on the hook for.
