Gender dysphoria was first recognized on July 6th, 1919 in Berlin, Germany at the Institute of Sexual Science (also known as Sexology). That institute was infamously destroyed on May 6th, 1933 during the nazi book burnings, and the recognition of gender dysphoria was essentially erased until it resurfaced 80 years later in July 2013. I'm tired of people pretending that gender dysphoria just started existing in 2013 — it has been around forever. This is why older trans people have already received medical care for their dysphoria: the condition has always been acknowledged, even if suppressed by history. They still had to go through the process of being diagnosed and working with doctors before transitioning. So when I emphasize this, it’s not gatekeeping — these have always been the rules.

The 13th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th August 2026.
It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

So in my city when it comes to homeless folk ya got 2 types Shelter homeless and street homeless BUT there's 2 types of street homeless 1. Too violent for shelters 2. Need weed to survive but shelters don't allow it and tonight is night 4 at the library benches and tonight one of the dudes from the men's shelter who's been put out for violent shit decided to join and me and my husband immediately caught an off vibe from him so once he fell asleep we moved our stuff from the bench next to him to the long benches on the other side.

I'm so exhausted and hurting from these metal benches. We've been reaching out to the shelters we haven't been in and they're either only for cis men, for only cis women, or for domestic violence survivors and we aren't any of those 3 so we're pretty much fucked. I've asked my godmother about camping in her backyard but she got nosy ass neighbors.

If a disabled person is waiting for an elevator, especially a wheelchair or bulky mobility aid user, you need to let them in, even if that means you have to take the next elevator.
Go watch the quest for the rainbow bagel, if it's still on YouTube. The guy has to wait as elevator after elevator after elevator is too full for him. Ultimately, he crawls down the stairs and has his companions carry his wheelchair for him. This is difficult, dangerous, and could break his chair- breaking his legs, essentially.
All because people who can walk were too selfish to let him on.
You can squeeze into a packed elevator. Bulky aid users can't. So get out, encourage others to get out, and let them in. You just have to say, "oh, you definitely can't go down the stairs, but the elevator is too full for you to squeeze in. I'll get out to make room for you and take the next one." It will pressure others to help.
This also applies to bathrooms, by the way. "Oh, you need the accessible stall. I can use any stall. Why don't you go ahead of me so that you can use it when it's available."
Standard disclaimer that non apparent disabilities exist and some might need the elevator/stall. If you have trouble with standing, I highly recommend getting a foldable seat or a cane seat. I sit on mine when I need to wait.

Gender is routed into your brain, if you identify with your birth gender or have no gender dysphoria, you are not trans. Transition will cause you harm. Step 4: Submit all your correct information (SSN, ID, ID #, GV name, address) while the system tells you that your information in not, in fact, correct, and that you do not supposedly exist in any records anywhere despite being a US citizen for your 21 years of life.
Step 5: Revise all your information and click submit again.
Step 6: Accept that you are still somehow doing something wrong despite the information being correct with the website not telling you what's wrong, prompting the website to lock you out for 6 hours.
Step 7: Contact support via email, which sends you an AI generated response.
Step 8: Contact support via phone, which sends you an AI generated response.
Step 9: Ask your local SS office if they take appointments or walk-ins. They do not. They tell you to go to the website and make an account, the account you cannot complete due to a system failure, making it impossible to get an appointment or apply for ssi in general.
Step 10: Consider suicide.
This is why people die waiting for disability benefits, by the way.
