Besides the fact that a lot of disabled people need to have non traditional sex, there are a lot of things that make being disabled queer

As opposed to abled men, disabled men are considered inherently unsexual beings. When their "need" for sex is recognized the solution is only considered to be found through pity or prescribed through prostetution like its a medication. There is also a common issue (in my anecdotal opinion) of disabled men being allowed to be sexual predators because no one believes them capable of being sexual

Disabled women are also considered sexless but instead of being seen as incubators like abled women the idea of them having children is taboo and thus they are considered to perpetually be children

Despite a great deal of disabled people being non binary (probably due to what I'm discussing here) they have a hard time finding validation and accessibility in queer spaces.

Queer, trans and non binary disabled people are under far more pressure to remain closeted because they can't afford to alienate any family members, medical practitioners, or political parties. Many also have to maintain affiliation with churches that are hostile to them so they can remain eligible for food and other aid

There is a lot more but I just wanted to touch on the major categories

Trans men are NOT your enemy

Trans women are NOT your enemy

Transmascs are NOT your enemy

Transfems are NOT your enemy

Non-binary people are NOT your enemy

Intersex people are NOT your enemy

People who use xenogenders are NOT your enemy

People who use neopronouns are NOT your enemy

People who use microlabels are NOT your enemy

Gender-non-conforming people are NOT your enemy

And if you think that a specific group of trans people or gnc people or any"the enemy", you're just wrong. No group of trans people is the reason for the hate cast towards us, and saying so is transphobic.

When I see men with mental health issues, I want to hold them and help them. I want to guide them to being better people and teach them to be loved. Give them the gift that was given to me.

But at my own expense? When a man hates himself, he will hate you for loving him, and he will physically lash out on you for it. The bruises, the fear, the anguish, the new and progressively worsening health conditions.

At what point is love a death sentence? To save the bait dog, just to become bait for it to feel superior and strong for the first time in its life. Love and pets consistently met with hateful, spiteful bites. Or waiting and acting like it wants you closer, wants a kind touch, just to maul you once it can get the chance.

Why is loving a man to let him rip the flesh off your hand as you feed him?

Even a heavily abused dog will become gentle, loyal, and dedicated to their savior, I’ve seen it first hand.

Do I not deserve to be saved? To be taught to be loved? To be held?

Am I not also the bait dog, waiting for my savior?

Who am I to judge though. Do I not also bite the hand that tries to pet me? Am I also not suspicious and paranoid of any kindness I receive from the opposite sex?

I don’t know why I bite, I don’t want to. I don’t want to be scared anymore. I don’t want to bite.

Maybe we are two sides of the same coin, equally as destroyed on the inside. We bite because it’s all we know, and we just can’t bear to let down our defenses, because that’s when the worst blows come.

Even if you can’t donate i would love for it to be shared and even my story to be heard, you never know it may also help people realise they need an electric wheelchair to manage aswell!
