Cane recommendations
does anyone have any good cane or mobility aid recommendations for me? I’m trying to get a new one before the school year starts and there’s a bunch on Amazon, but you can never tell if it’ll actually be good :(

My new cane got here today! I haven’t gone out with it yet obviously but I enjoy it so far, put some stickers on it and such. I enjoy how it closes a lot more and it having two tips (one wider and one smaller) will definitely be of good use, but I will probably be using the wider one more
My old cane had a belt clip I made which sadly does not work with this one so I have to make a new clip that will work with this one and I’ll probably be making a small cover for the handle
I’m also currently making myself a bag, my current one I’ve had since I was 12 or so so like..6 or more years, so it’s definitely time for a new one. Im making this one with my service plush in mind, having plenty of room for while Bytes in it and will at least if it works out be able to hold harbor as well just with less room for other things, as he can not fit in my current bag at all
I only have the back sewn and one pocket done so far, but it will also have several pockets for things like my meds and other health things, my travel charger, art supplies or camera things, and even a water bottle pocket and cane strap on the sides
I am sewing this with just my paws so it will be a bit but I’m hoping if I can do enough to get it done on the next few days if I don’t get caught up in work instead

finally got a full (non-folding) cane! even got one with a palm handle to help with my arthritis I've developed since using my cane :) I haven't fully decorated this one yet but I just finished making a leather cane strap for it (it's just a strip of leather and eyelets that i put together but it works loll)

closed cuff vs open cuff
which one is better for one-sided long-term, but not everyday use? I got closed cuff yesterday and only later I started reading and got worried I picked wrong. I have cane that I’m using on bad days, the plan is to pick mobility aids based on the amount of pain I’m in. Articles, anecdotes and other resources welcomed
Anyone want to uh share a cane with me🥹🥹 the doctor refuses to let me have one because it would be sad for a child to have to use one even though it could help me
