I watched it while it was on air a few months ago (as i'm israeli) and it's great and amazing. please go support it cause it deserves it. plus hot guys including tomer kuppon (which to people abroad will be known from fauda which is also israeli) and michael aloni (you probably won't know him but here he was a damn teen hearthrob 10 years ago and he ages life fine wine) plus all the main guys do amazing jobs at the tough acting shit they have to do

now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna eat a lot and probably way to much for the next 8 days

So i watched sierra burgess is a loser and i have to say, i'm kinda dissapointed. it doesn't have the charm i expected and wanted it to have, the story is not as good as could have been, it's not fully realised to its potential and there are moments that should be in one of the drafts before realising it's wrong for the movie (aka what she did at the end to veronica). noah was one of the only salvation points of the movie for me- charming as always and lovingly awkward. I'm a sucker for rom coms and teen rom coms, there are the bad ones that are just the right amount that you can't help but love and there are the good/great ones. this one doesn't hit any of these- and in rom com world it's not good enough. i wish it was better, i wish i loved sierra's character as much as i wanted to, but i didn't. for example, she has a scene where she cries to her parents but i needed to be better, stronger, more honest-both in tge writing and the acting- something just didn't come through for me. now listen, i'm a bit over weight and have some serious issues with my body so natrually i should have connected to the scene- but i didn't. i just felt like it's an important part of the movie and it could've been and should've been so much betterm plus the fact that none of her parents came to talk to her after that- like wtf?? a good parent would talk to their kid after something like that - whixh could have been such an amazing scene. now, my faves were defenitly veronica and jamey- they felt real, honest and had some of the best acting in the movie. so, those were my thoughts on the movie- what did you think? did you like it?
