Listen. Runaways, the show, had many areas for improvement. Romance wasn't one of them though.
Deanoru truly lived through the 'I have everything I could ever want, but not being with you tarnishes it all,' timeline. While GertChase literally died in each other's arms, and still ended up together.
All of THAT happened in just the last two episodes. So when I say the lead up to it wasn't anything to scoff at, I mean every word.
karolina taking over nico's room instead of? staying in her own? & chase dumping gert's college application in the fondue yeah these guys are all endgame. the pettiness levels are UNMATCHED
