okay, so I’m looking at this scene from the trailer that is most likely going to be ep5, after sorcerer, Will is passed out.

Joyce and Mike have a heart to heart, about Will, about how his powers came to be, all this intense drama right…

would it be crazy if I said that Mike could possibly have his own, accidental moment of confession HERE. maybe he doesn’t even realise it, maybe Joyce does, but it’s mainly for the audience.

this is where I’d like to bring in a parallel from one of my favourite shows of all time - The end of the fucking world.

specifically, this scene between James and Alyssa. She’s asleep - allegedly- and he tells her he loves her.

plot twist, she’s not asleep. She heard the whole thing. But she acts like she didn’t.

What if whilst Will is passed out, he hears this conversation between his mum and Mike. What if this is part of the snowball becoming an avalanche???

this could also be an awesome way of showing the GA mikes POV of things, without the watchful eyes of Will.
