Still going on about the day trip to dublin cause I'm so annoyed. Also I lowkey think my friend is not capable of achieving her dream

She wanted the taxi because she was so stressed about public transport that she thought she would pass out (which happens to her sometimes tbf), she also didnt want to be out in the heat for too long (a less than 5 minute walk) for the same reason. Yet she wants to be a paramedic. Like I love her dont get me wrong here but if you can't use a bus without being that stressed or walk in the heat for 5 minutes how in the name of god will you handle being a paramedic. Cause idk if you know this being a paramedic is very mentally and physically demanding occupation. Like I don't think she's able for it but like I can't tell her that.

I've thought she's not able for it for ages now but like I can't tell her that, that's her dream job. Like she's physically unable, due to passing out but also cause she's unfit. Like starts huffing and puffing walking at any pace that isnt a leisurely stroll. I'm fat too I'm not saying this in a rude way, I get winded on stairs I'm not exactly the pinnacle of health. Mentally she's not able due to stress but she's also unable to accept criticism. Like she ended a friendship because someone corrected her first aid (they were right just autistic so they came across as rude). Like unless she changes drastically physically, mentally and emotionally she hasn't a hope. That sounds horrible but like it's true. You can't go into a high stress job that requires a certain level of fitness while being bad at handling both of those things

just saw a pigeon doing the puffed up courtship dance thing to another pigeon, and as he was strutting around he suddenly stopped for a split second to do a very brief preen-peck at his own side, then returned to the strutting around. and i surprised myself by instantly losing respect for the male pigeon in that moment, like come on man i appreciate you had an itch or whatever but how is she supposed to feel special when you're getting distracted by bullshit like that? which on reflection i don't endorse, i mean those are pretty harsh dating norms i'm imposing on these pigeons, from a total outsider perspective, for no reason. probably not all girl pigeons are as uptight about that sort of thing as i would apparently be if i was a girl pigeon, maybe she even found it endearing who knows, i don't know her. it's none of my business really. sorry pigeons.
