Marinette came jogging to Dany's lab, knocking at the door with a smile on her face. She heard he'd just gotten back from being abroad and just had to come greet him. She had a bag with a small array of fresh cookies on her arm, and Tikki tucked safely in her purse.
It had been a long 6 months. Since Dannyās work was starting to go viral, he had been requested to meet other inventors of his project. He had left Marinette with a note and a tiny version of Baymax for Tikki, not that he wanted to anyways. But he knew he should. But as soon as he got back, he worked on Baymax. Coming to be so close to finishing him before running some tests. When he heard a knock on his door, he slid himself to the door. Opening up to see Marinette. This caused him to smile brightly, his arms wrapped around her as he pulled her into his chest. Hugging her tightly.Ā āIāve missed youĀ ma petite soeurā
She clapped happily as he said that before he ushered her inside. Tikki was quick to phase through her purse, two small muffled noises of complaint soon following after.
āSome juice would be good, please.ā
Tikki spoke up, soon floating over to Danny and nuzzling his cheek. Marinette was quick to place her hands on the purse, opening it to make sure the other occupants werenāt hurt.
She giggled softly at the joke, and soon she placed the bag of sweets on the counter. Her hands then scooping two small skeletons from within.
āWell, Iāve got two new members of the family, I adopted Edgy shortly after you left, and Brassy was rescued a month ago.ā
Holding the two skeletons up, she cooed softly to them, Edgy watching Danny cautiously and Brassy tucking himself into her neck.
Danny smiled at Tikki before cupping his hand for her to float in. Placing her on his shoulder as he walked to the fridge to grab some juice.Ā āOh?ā He said as he turned around. He smiled at the two before grabbing a small box of items. Closing the door with his foot and walked to the counter. Sliding her a juice and then putting the small box in the middle.Ā āThen its a good thing I got plenty of tiny drinks to spare. Beene multi-tasking, which is harder for men, and build a shrink ray. So now Miss Tikki and your new friends can join us!ā He exclaimed as he opened the little box to show some glass bottles and some food.Ā āThey seem to be nice. I hope they are treating you with respect petite soeurā
Tikki settled easily in his hands and then on his shoulder, a soft giggle coming from the tiny God. The little skeletons were wary of anyone new, not wanting Marinette hurt.
āMa, whoās this..?ā
āEasy Edgy, this is my big brother, Danny. He wonāt hurt any of us, promise.ā
She moved them to where he set out the drinks, and small snacks, yet didnāt try detaching them yet.
āI learned what medical stuff I know, because of him. Which Iām glad for cause of Brassyās injury. Speaking ofā¦ Do you have any bandages Frere? Gotta clean up Brassyās wound.ā
Her fingers were tender as she pet their skulls, and even cautious of the bandage on the wounded Bittyās skull.
He nodded before pulling out a box filled with them. He never left his lab without them as he would usually find Marinette after a battle. Quickly patching her up before getting her to wherever she was needed. He slid the box to Marinette as he took a slip from his glass bottle. Obviously chocolate milk as he adored the sweet liquid.Ā āItās nice to meet you both. But Iāve never seen skeletons be able to talk or even wear clothes beforeā As an inventor, new things like this always interested him. He picked up a drink and then a cookie from what Marinette brought and handed them to Tikki.Ā āHere Miss Tikkiā He said.Ā āNow, tell me everything that has happened while I was gone.
