I didn't realize that I never posted these here but here's my Rust drawing that I did for Day 10 of Tombstober 2024 (prompt was just "Rust")
First time trying to draw a car and I swear to god I never want to try and draw one again lmao Also, I know that Rust having a TAC-50 in this setting makes 0 sense but whatever- I like the gun lmfao
The drawing/pose is based around Ludovisi's Ares
For those of you who don't know- My big plot twist/point with Rust is that they were Ares before dying; which they were revived by being (metaphorically) glued to the helmet and chest plate. Rust has no memory of their past life (at the moment this drawing would be from, anyway).
The irony comes into play when you consider the character differences-
Ares was (mostly) hated by the people of Greece because Ares represents the "bad" parts of war (bloodshed, death, etc).
Rust is a champion of, and for, the people representing hope (in a weird way).
So if Rust were to ever- I dunno... fully realize what they used to be, it would shatter them; they'd have a complete mental meltdown due to conflicting ideologies
But I'd never do something like that to a Tombsona- I treat them all very nicely and give them all lots of love and happy stories ( :
(Oh and that's why both quotes are Greek- cause Rust is a part of the pantheon lol)

The reason the butterfly is there- besides for just being like dramatic- is that Monarch butterflies represent: hope, transformation, and rebirth (which Rust has gone through the closest thing a Tombsona can to being reborn). Plus Monarchs are just endangered so it fits Rust's theme lol
So yes, lore wise- Doc and Rust are the only two of the 6 main canon Tombsonas who were/are gods/goddesses. This makes Rust both the second strongest and the weakest of the Tombsonas (if Rust were to figure out a way to depart from their objects, it would remove the cap on their powers, allowing them to return to the state they were when under the name of Ares).
Rust is also both the second oldest and the second youngest; Doc is older and Geist is younger.
Doc knows something is weird about Rust but just chalks it up to Rust being bound the way they are is why Doc gets weird vibes off of him.
Prometheus and Rust (Ares) did know each other- Menoetius also knew Rust lol. They didn't really like each other and, without spoiling too much, Prometheus and Ares left off on a very sour note. So the jokes about Prometheus being like upset or leery of Rust come from this part of the lore lol

Each Tombsona (besides Giest and Armstrong) got two cards. The ones below the divider have some more... tasteful jokes on them lol
Each card has a reference to someone who is super into that character:
Rust: Cas; nail polish, tongue piercing, and (some of the) lighting/shading all from her Tombsona
(also Rust's card is a weird size, no idea why or what happened oops)
Zero: Polychrome (burger); hoodie is made up of colors from their character "Burger" and the material is meant to be shiny (because like- chrome-- I know horrible pun)
Armstrong: Beowulf (teslasushanka): lighting and shading- colors from his sona
Tesla: Ashe; a pin on Tesla's collar (Ashe's tombsona colors clashed too harshly with Tesla's colors so I couldn't use it for that)
Doc: FUCKING NO ONE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE TO REFERENCE- PLEASE CAN SOMEONE ELSE SIMP OVER DOC WITH ME FOR FUCKS SAKE-
Geist: Fern/Geist; a fern charm on one of their locs, the stones of which are from Fern's tombsona color palette.
If anyone is curious as to why Doc's handwriting is funky, it's meant to be Marshalls, which is "odd" due to the time period he was/is from: a mixture of printing and cursive.

New Armstrong design! Obviously, I don't think I'll ever be able to show this part off, but Army's boots have lil cat paws underneath them lol
This is the first time I've fully rendered Giest in a very long time.
Their body is meant to be anatomically funky- missing most of the plating that was supposed to cover their entire body. The hole in its middle is from Giest digging inside themselves, looking for a host that they don't have- searching for a part of them that they never will find. A temporary fix was the gloves, but it's been so long since Giest has had matenice that they've torn right through them.
I also made sure that the wires and joints are kinda realistic; I used like the videos of old Chuck E Cheese animatronics lol
Turned of the folder that has their front locs- sorry that there is some weird clipping and open spots, those are covered by the turned-off layers lmao
The skull is meant to cover their whole face, but Geist has ripped it apart because they feel like they are suffocating (they don't have the ability to breathe). Giest doesn't even have a mouth.
Geist's mask eyes are based on the mask Tesla had when Geist was being made- Geist, in general, has a lot of close ties to Tesla, who's brain was subconsciously picked through to (basically) obtain a blueprint that would suffice to make a weapon like Geist.

not much context to this one- I was watching/listening to a stream that Cas was doing- talking about the Be Alone MV shortly after it came out- and got distracted/couldn't focus...
I was supposed to be finishing Tesla's Valentine's Day card, so I drew Doc, of course lmao

We were talking about Zero and Prometheus doing stupid shit together (I think?) and the idea of them eating whole coconuts came up- I believe it had to do with the idea of Primal Tombsonas just eating things without removing the skin (or wrappers), but I honestly don't fully remember lmao
